One week had passed and Jackson's mind has been stirred by his own thoughts and it was unsettling.
'Rolex and Jewel...They looked so good together....She was smiling with him.'
It is as if he was cast upon by a spell.
He wanted to be able to just talk to someone and the wisest person he knew was his younger brother.
"Ya.What happened?"
"So...Um...there is a friend of mine.He likes a girl.But they could not work out."
Obviously! He was not going to say it was about himself.
"Okay! Then they should break up.Simple"
"Which they will"
Jackson gave him a side eye.
"....but the thing is the girlfriend's ex-boyfriend has entered the scene.He is rich,handsome and seems like he is still got an interest in her."
"So?"
"But the boyfriend still likes her.What should he do?"
"Eh??"
Viviaan peeked at his brother, who looked as serious as ever.
"Who is this ex boyfriend of Jewel?"
He was blunt.
"That is not important,If he still loves her and she seems to be happy around him...I shouldn't be standing in their way?"
Jackson finished and looked at his brother who was now smirking.
"I thought you were talking about your friend"
Jackson was dumbfounded.
"Well....Ya....its not about me....A distant friend of mine"
It was of no use.
"Urghh.....I HATE YOUU"
Jackson stomped out.
Viviaan couldn't stop laughing.He chased and pulled Jackson by his arm.
"Sorry....sorry....You looked so stressed while lying. Sit down and explain brother."

"So,you think Rolex and Jewel might still work out?"
Viviaan pondered over the issue.
"What about Jewel? What does she want?"
"I don't know! I did not ask"
Viviaan crossed his arms and asked
"Who the hell are you to decide for her?"
"Oh?"
His words felt like a slap.
"Brother,what do you think of Jewel?Is she your property or what?"
Viviaan crossed his arms and gave Jackson a judgy look.
"What?Why would you say so?"
"You are saying as if you would transfer a property under your name to someone who might take better care of it"
Jackson looked for words to justify his intentions.
"She is a human being with her own emotions, choices, preferences and intelligence as much as you or any other person. So is Rolex.He is a nice guy, I know him. Has he ever said that he wants her back? I know for a fact that he won't even think of romancing his childhood best friends wife!"
Jackson felt ashamed.
"Brother....don't get me wrong. Just mind your own business. Have you been honest about your feelings to Jewel?"
