*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

my alarm had started to blare when the clock hit 6:30 am. as i woke up, i rubbed my eyes and groaned at the thought of going to school. my mind was calmed by sounds of birds chirping as sun shone it's rays through my half opened curtains on the window. as i lifted my legs from their resting place and rested my feet on the cold ground, i kept my eyes closed as i continued to wake up fully. when i opened my eyes i was met with the bright golden glow in my room from the sunrise. i breathed out before getting up and heading outside of my bedroom, into the hallway towards the bathroom.

as i walked into the bathroom, i turned on only one of the lights, to not hurt my eyes too much. as i looked in my reflection in the mirror, it looked just as i thought and just how it looks every morning. i turned around and turned on my shower as i grabbed my face wash and toothpaste and toothbrush.

as i waited for the water to warm up i headed back to my room to grab my outfit. i picked out a pair of navy blue sweatpants, and a beige tube top. i made my way back to the bathroom after i picked out the outfit and set it on the sink counter as i removed my pajamas and entered the shower

as i entered, i took in the warmth of the water and the feeling of the steam before starting to wash myself. after i had finished washing myself i brushed my teeth, washed my face, and then shut off the water before opening the curtains and stepping onto my bath mat. i dried myself off before i put lotion on my body and then put on the outfit i had picked out. i stayed in the bathroom for a little bit, taking in the warm aroma, before i exited out into my cold, empty apartment. even if i put up poker face, it still hurts a bit waking up to an empty apartment every morning. especially when if it's not empty, you can tell that everyone is too tired for anything. i sighed before i headed back into my bedroom and sat at my vanity to do my makeup.

i turned on the warmest light setting before i grabbed my products. i started off applying the cold toner onto my face before continuing with my entire routine, serum, moisturizer, and bronzer serum. i decided i wasn't up to doing a makeup look today, so i just took a clear mascara to my lashes and brows before i got up from my desk. i laid on my bed and closed my eyes as i held myself from falling asleep once again. i felt myself about to doze off, before my eyes were flooded with flashing colors. i blinked my eyes open as i could feel my body weight lifting from the dip in my bed. as i felt my weight shift i opened my eyes immediately. i barely had time to process the big, bright, portal or black hold looking substance before i was sucked into it.

as i was violently pulled into the portal i felt overwhelmed with everything around me. i was traveling at a rapid speed through what seemed like a clear tunnel with continual yellow hexagons lining the invisible path in the middle of what seemed to look like space. a plain, large, dark area with certain little specs of white and red. i couldn't control myself as i panicked, confused as to what was going on, as i kept spinning around in the little tunnel. i felt myself straighten out as i looked up and was spooked by a bright white glow as i was shot.. back into my room?  due to the rapid speed i was passing by at, instead of landing softly in a safe spot. i shot straight into my vanity, knocking over most of my things.

i yelled in pain as my back slammed onto the ground and as my hip slammed into one of the legs on my desk. i laid there in that spot for a good while, sharply breathing until i could handle the pain and process what had just happened i looked around and examined my room as everything seemed to be my room, but with different touches. and my vision or so,etching might have been messed up as everything looked and portrayed itself very different. usually when something is is the corner of your eye, it blurs. but here, that was not the case. as i looked around and noticed thing out of the corner of my eyes, instead of blurring, they seemed to.. repeat themselves. like i could see two of the same item, the "shadow" being either a darker, blue, black, or red.

i managed to slowly raise myself up from the ground as i held my side, still in shock and confusion about what had happened. i looked at the clock, 7:06 pm, what the fuck? almost 12 hours had passed? i was still confused as my shock wore off and i could hear the people outside and cars honking, yet everything seemed so much more... calmer? i rushed over to the window as i flew open the blinds. as i looked at the sights in front of me i couldn't believe it.

i saw families walking outside, like it was a safe, suburban neighborhood. everyone walked without a care in the world, without a worry. they seemed not to have to constantly look over their shoulders for danger. every thing seemed so much brighter. a few bright art works, not graffiti, plastered on the sides of bright businesses. as i continued to look around i felt something snap before i started to have, what it felt like, my insides ripped apart. i felt myself  painfully 'glitch' for a little bit before it stopped. i gasped for air as i laid and cried on the ground in pain. i gripped my stomach tightly as it ached from the, what seemed to feel like twisting, and pulling, and squeezing of my internal organs, sending a horribly painful migraine to my head.

i made sure i wasn't about to glitch again as i slowly regained my balance as i stood up, rubbing my temples from the throbbing in my head. i tried to rush to my bedroom door as quickly as possible and flung it open. i needed to find someone, anyone. i need to figure out what the hell is going on.

the one thing that seemed to stay the same in this place was that i, once again, walked out to an empty apartment. i groaned as there was nobody in my apartment i could go to, when i remembered. i live right below miles! i smiled before trying my best to run to my front door as it took me a shorter time to unlock it as this door only had 1 lock compared to my usual one with 4. i flung my door open and slammed it shut as i rushed as quick as possible to miles' apartment. as i got to his front door i was met with the same decoration. the smallest white, red, and gold flower pot in which it held two beautiful and vibrant hibiscus flowers.

as soon as i recognized the decor i knocked frantically on the door, praying someone would be inside. i heard muffled chatter and deep heavy foot steps approaching the doorway. i stepped back, preparing myself to run away if the people inside were not who i was hoping for and happened to be trouble. i saw the door open, revealing a pretty large, muscular man with a police uniform on. my eyebrows furrowed as he opened the door way, as i had no idea who this man was. i could see his eyes widen as well as the front part of his eye brows turned upwards.
