It's been days since I brought Layla to the hospital wing. I haven't left my room because I didn't want to talk to anyone. I don't know what's going on with her, but I have a feeling my father has something to do with it. I received a letter from him saying that there is a meeting I need to attend to during Christmas break, which is two weeks away. I have a feeling that what I told him wasn't good enough. And I think that's why Theo got involved.
I laid in my bed thinking back on my conversation with Blaise a few days ago.
I heard the door knob to my room jiggle, and then I heard someone mumble something. I grabbed my wand, ready to see who walked in, and it was Blaise.
I put my wand down. "What do you want?"
He closed my door and sat on my bed. "I was just checking on you and wanted to let you know that Mattheo and I went to see Layla."
