Layla has avoided me for over a month. She forgave Mattheo but not me. I'd say what he did was worse. At least I watched out for her. Right?

She started talking to Theo Nott. I don't know why Mattheo introduced them. Nott isn't who she thinks he is. I would know.

I tried talking to her in potions, but she declined like usual. After class, Theo was waiting for her by the door. I'm assuming to walk her to class. He's been doing that.

Blaise and I walked to Herbology, spotting Lilly on the way. The 3 of us made it to class with barely anyone in there yet.

"Draco, you need to stop with the notes." Blaise rested his hand on my shoulder.

"Piss off Blaise." I spat.

"Maybe if you told her about the potion, she would be talking to you." Lilly chimed in.

"You don't think I know that?" I snapped.

"Don't force her to talk to you. She will eventually come around. Relax Malfoy." Lilly reassured.

I dont care what they say. She will talk to me whether she likes it or not.

After class, we were walking to the Great Hall for lunch. I noticed Layla going in the opposite direction.

"I'll catch up with you guys. I forgot something in class." I lied.

I followed her at a safe distance, and it looked like she was going to the common room. I waited a few minutes after she walked in, and then I made my way. She wasn't in the common room, so I figured she was in her dorm. I knocked on the door.

(A/N): You can skip everything that is underlined below. Its just a repeat of the conversation Layla and Draco had in the previous chapter.

"Come in." I heard from the other side of the door.

"Hi Layla." I quickly put a spell on the door.

"Get out!" She yelled

"Not until you talk to me." I spat.

"You got your wish I'm talking to you. Now get out, Malfoy!" She stood up from the bed.

"You know what I mean." I said.

"No, I don't."

"I want to explain to you about that night."

"What's there to explain? You watched someone spike my drink and let them give it to me? All for what?" She shouted.

"I didn't want him to have you."

"You didn't want him to have me." She paused. "Maybe if you told me what he did, we wouldn't be in this situation, and he wouldn't have me." She glared at me.

I knew she was right. But I didn't want to admit that.

She laughed. "You're selfish, Malfoy."

I pushed her against the wall and pointed my wand to her neck. I'll never get tired of this.

"What did you say?" I gave her a death stare.

"I said you're selfish."

"I'm not selfish." I spat.

"Oh really? You didn't want Mattheo to have me. What about Theo? Do you not want him to have me either?" She paused. "Some people say, 'If I can't have you, no one can'. So, kill me, Draco, then no one can have me. Or you can prove to me that you're not selfish and get out."

I lowered my wand and backed away. "Layla..." I said softly. She always tells me to kill her, but she knows I won't.

"Leave, and I'll think about talking to you again." She said, looking over at the door. I walked back up to her, cuffed my hands around her cheeks, and kissed her forehead. She shivered a little. "Please, Draco."

I looked down on her while she was looking at the floor.

"Okay." I sighed and unlocked the door. When I opened it, Theo was there.

"Is there a reason you're in my girls' dorm?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"It's none of your business." I spat and walked away.

I went to lunch and sat next to Blaise.

"What took you so long?" He asked.

"I was talking to Layla." I responded.

He raised his eyebrows. "And how did that go?"

I rolled my eyes in response.

"That bad, huh?"

"It wasn't terrible. She said if I left the room, she would talk to me." I said, picking at my food.

"Right. So you forced her to talk to you?"

"It worked, didn't it?" I laughed and Blaise rolled his eyes.
