After the excitement of the first event, Layla, Pansy, and I decided to take a little break before the second event. The atmosphere was still electric, the crowds buzzing with anticipation for the next round.

Layla was sitting on the ground, Tyca beside her. Pansy was lying back, her head resting on her elbows. I took a seat next to Layla, wrapping an arm around her.

"You were amazing out there, my love," I said, my voice full of admiration.

She smiled up at me, her cheeks flushed with exertion. "Thanks, Draco. Tyca was the real star, though."

Pansy nodded in agreement. "That's true. I think Tyca has a real chance at taking home the prize. They make an incredible team."

I could see the pride in Layla's eyes, the love for her dragon shining through. It was a beautiful sight to see.

As we chatted and joked around, I couldn't help but let my gaze drift towards Layla. I was in awe of her talent and tenacity, but there was something more. Something about her that just drew me to her.

Before I could stop myself, I leaned in and pressed my lips against hers in a soft, gentle kiss.

Her eyes lit up as she wrapped her arms around me, returning the kiss with equal intensity.

"You know I am so proud of you, right?" I said, my voice soft and affectionate.

She smiled, blushing just a little. "I do, but it's always nice to hear it."

Pansy chuckled from beside us. "Get a room, you two."

We both laughed, the moment of affection and closeness feeling almost like a dream. As the second event approached, I knew I needed to be there for Layla and support her in any way possible.

But right now, all I wanted was to bask in the warmth of her presence, enjoying this moment of love and closeness.

As the second event was about to start, Layla left us to prepare Tyca for the competition. Pansy turned to me, a solemn look on her face.

"The next event is talent,” she said. “The owners and their dragons have to showcase 3 special talents or abilities that will set them apart from the other competitors.”

I felt a pang of nervousness in my chest. I knew Layla was talented, but I also knew the competition would be fierce.

"How do you think she is doing?" I asked sincerely.

Pansy let out a deep breath, her expression thoughtful. "I think she's doing great. Tyca is a real asset - he's got incredible strength and speed. But the other competitors are not to be underestimated."

I nodded, feeling the weight of the moment. "I know Layla has worked hard for this. I just hope that she does her best."

Pansy shot me a reassuring smile. "She will. She has the talent and the drive to come out on top."

We made our way to the next event, the anticipation and excitement was taking over my body. As we waited for Layla to arrive, the announcer's voice boomed throughout the grounds, detailing the rules of the competition.

"The owners and their dragons will showcase talents or abilities that they possess. It can range from fire-breathing to an impressive aerial performance. The aim is to impress the judges and be as unique as possible."

I watched as the other owner's dragons showcased their talents, each one impressive in their own way. I couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness, the anticipation of Layla's performance was almost too much to bear.

And then, she was there, Tyca by her side, her face set in a determined expression.

My nerves were raw with anticipation as the announcer began to speak. "Up next, we have Layla and Tyca from England. They’ll be showcasing their unique abilities today,” the announcer called out.

I held my breath, watching as Layla stood in the field with Tyca beside her.

"Okay, Tyca," Layla yelled out. "Seismic Toss!"

I watched as Tyca took to the sky, his powerful wings beating rapidly. As he flew higher and higher, he grabbed hold of a boulder in the sky.

Tyca then flew in a big circle multiple times, his wings and body moving in perfect unison, showcasing impressive control.

I felt my heart race as Tyca began to fly directly down, headfirst. I could see the boulder in Tyca's powerful grip, as he aimed to drop it as close to the ground as possible.

The crowd let out a gasp as Tyca dropped the boulder with incredible accuracy, managing to control his flying and avoiding hitting the ground himself.

I breathed a sigh of relief, as Layla and Tyca completed the first part of their performance flawlessly. It was clear that their bond and hard work had paid off.

Pansy let out a whoop of excitement as the competition erupted into applause.

As Tyca returned to the field, excitement filled the air. I watched, mesmerized, as Layla called out to Tyca, her voice ringing with confidence.

"Flamethrower. And let's see a tornado," she called out to Tyca.

I could see the intent expression on Tyca's face as he flew up into the air, his wings beating loudly against the wind.

Pansy gasped as Tyca began spinning in a circle, flames erupting from his mouth. As the fire grew in intensity, a fierce tornado of flames began to form around Tyca, spinning with incredible velocity.

I watched in awe as Tyca landed back on the ground, the tornado dissipating around him. The crowd went wild, cheering and applauding.

Everyone was on the edge of their seats with anticipation, waiting to see what they would do next.

Layla's voice rang out once again, commanding Tyca with confidence. "Steel Wing!"

I watched as Tyca's wings began to transform, turning into solid steel. He took to the air, his wings beating loudly against the wind.

Pansy let out a gasp as Tyca flew horizontally, his wings hitting five boulders along the way. Each one broke apart into tiny fragments as Tyca's wings cut through them like butter.

The crowd cheered and applauded as Layla and Tyca finished their incredible performance. The announcer's voice boomed over the loudspeakers.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have just witnessed an almost perfect score from Layla and Tyca from England. Their talent and hard work have truly paid off today."

I could feel the pride swelling within me. Layla and Tyca's strength and skill are truly remarkable.

As they walked off the field, Pansy and I rushed down to them. She hugs Layla tightly before turning her attention to Tyca.

"You were amazing, Tyca," Pansy says, stroking the dragon's scales. "You did so well!"

Meanwhile, I rushed over to Layla, feeling a rush of love and admiration for my girlfriend. She smiles at me as I sweep her up in my arms, her legs wrapping around my waist.

"I'm so proud of you," I whisper into her ear. "You were incredible out there."

Layla buries her face in my neck, and I feel her hot breath on my skin. "Thank you, Draco," she murmurs. "It means a lot to me that you're here."

I smile and kiss her gently on the lips. "Of course, my love. I wouldn't miss this for anything."

Pansy looks over and grins at us. "You two are so cute," she teases.

I laugh and hold Layla tighter. "She's my girl," I said, winking at Pansy. "I can't help but brag a little."

Layla snuggles closer to me, feeling so content in my arms. "You can brag all you want," she says with a grin. "I'm just happy you're here with me."

There's still one more event left, but for now, all that matters is the love and support that surrounds Layla and Tyca. Together, they can conquer anything.
