When I woke up the next morning, I reached over to where Draco would have been, only to find that he wasn't there. Instead, there was a note on his pillow.

I picked it up, feeling a sense of trepidation. As I opened it, my heart sank as I read the words written in Draco's handwriting.

"Layla, I'm sorry for leaving like this without saying goodbye. There are just some things that I need to figure out, and I don't think I can do it while I'm here with you. I want you to know that I appreciate everything you've done for me and that I care about you more than anything. But there are some things that I have to face on my own. I promise to keep in touch and let you know how I'm doing. Take care, Draco."

I sat there, feeling a lump form in my throat. I understood that he needed some time to figure things out, but I couldn't help feeling hurt by the suddenness of his departure.

As I made my way out to the balcony, feeling lost and alone, I noticed a small bouquet of flowers on one of the chairs. There was a note attached to it, written in Draco's handwriting.

"For you, my love. I'll be thinking of you, always."

Despite everything, a small smile formed on my lips as I picked up the flowers, feeling the fragrant blooms tickle my nose. I knew that things were uncertain, but I also knew that Draco and I would always have each other, even if we were miles apart.

As I sat on the balcony, looking out at the stunning view of the sunrise over the city, I heard the sound of my friends waking up in the hotel room behind me. I took a deep breath, trying to push away the sadness I felt at Draco's sudden departure.

"Good morning," Lilly said, walking out onto the balcony and smiling at me. "Did you sleep well?"

I nodded, feeling grateful for the distraction of my friends. "Yeah, I did. How about you guys?"

Pansy, Mattheo, and Blaise, soon joined us, looking refreshed and happy after a good night's sleep.

"We should go grab breakfast before we head home," Pansy suggested, her eyes bright. "I heard there's a great cafe down the street."

I smiled, feeling a sense of excitement at the thought of one last meal together before we all headed back to our respective lives. "That sounds great. Let's do it."

We quickly got ready and made our way to the cafe that Pansy had suggested. As we sat down at the outdoor table, surrounded by the bright colors and smells of the city, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the memories we had made over the past few days.

As we chatted and laughed and reminisced, I knew that even though things with Draco were uncertain, I had the support and love of my friends, and that was all that really mattered.

We finished breakfast and gathered our bags, ready to head back home. As we were about to apparate, I felt a sense of bittersweet sadness wash over me.

But I also felt a sense of hope, knowing that no matter what laid ahead, we would always have the memories of this trip to look back on and cherish.

We all apparated to Pansy's yard. Blaise and Mattheo soon said their goodbyes and left, and the rest of us went into Pansy's house. Lilly and Daphne settled down on the couch, and Pansy and I made some tea and snacks for everyone.

"So, what should we do now?" Lilly asked, taking a sip of her tea.

"I was thinking we could play some board games," Pansy suggested, grinning.

We all nodded in agreement, and Pansy pulled out a few games from her closet. We settled down on the living room floor and began to play, laughing and joking around the entire time.

As the night wore on, we found ourselves chatting about everything from our Hogwarts days to our hopes and dreams for the future. I found myself feeling grateful for the comfort and support of my friends, especially given the uncertainty of my relationship with Draco.

"Hey, Layla," Daphne said, interrupting our conversation. "I know things with Draco are tough right now, but I believe in you two. You're both strong people, and I know you'll work things out."

I smiled, feeling a sense of warmth at her words. "Thanks, Daphne. That means a lot."

Pansy chimed in, giving me a small smile. "And no matter what happens, you know we'll always be here for you."

I nodded, feeling my eyes fill with tears. "I don't know what I'd do without you guys."

As the night wore on, we eventually decided to call it a night. We all went to Pansy's room to sleep.

As I laid down that night, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and support of my friends. No matter what the future held, I knew that I had these girls by my side, and that was all the comfort I needed.

The next morning, we all woke up and decided to take a walk in the park nearby. As we walked, we chatted and laughed, enjoying the warm sunshine and the sound of birds chirping in the trees.

"I'm glad we're all able to take a break from our busy lives and just spend time together like this," Lilly said, smiling.

"Me too," Pansy said, her voice soft. "It's important to hold onto the people who matter most in our lives."

We all nodded in agreement, feeling grateful for these moments of connection and closeness.

As the day came to an end, we all said our goodbyes and promised to stay in touch. I felt a sense of warmth in my heart, knowing that no matter what life threw my way, I would always have the support and love of my friends.
