"What's happening here?" He inquired, approaching them, slipping his left hand inside his pant pocket and hugging her body close with the other as she shivered, with the trembling she had when her father was prepared to slap her. He was unexpected, at least at this moment, if it weren't for her forgetting her purse in the car as he drove back to the hospital when he noticed her getting into another cab.

He yelled at her to reach out to her, not to ask her where she was going, but to return her purse, knowing she'd get in trouble if he failed to do so. When she didn't stop, he had to drive and chase her until she did. He opted not to enter when he saw her entering her house, figuring he'd give it back or pick her up when she returned. But he had to go inside as she did not return within fifteen minutes.

"There is nothing, Jungkook. Let's go, I need something from my room." He knew she lied since he saw his father-in-law almost slapping her, which was obvious to everyone present. "Is that correct? I told you I'd have someone grab them for you; you did not have to go all the way here." He talked without looking at her, instead glaring at Mr Lee, who shuddered in his presence.

Everyone knew what was going on, but they opted not to disclose to each other. Mr Lee was terrified; what if he break their partnership because of all of this drama? "Jungkook? Do you want something?Take a seat," he says, attempting to make him forget by acting as if nothing occurred. "Of Course...not. I'm busy; she just needs to get something. Most likely next time." He replied calmly, but his eyes were almost the polar opposite of his speech.

"You got what you wanted?" He asked again, staring down at her as she nodded, unaware that she had nothing to show him, but he nodded "then you go and wait for me in the car" as his voice trailed down, making her concerned that why would he ask her to leave before him.

"You're not coming?" She asked, looking at the ground as she had been doing the entire time, possibly due to an emotional imbalance caused by the turmoil of events going on around her. It was tough for her to get over it so quickly. From learning that her brother had returned after being presumed dead for years, to nearly being slapped in front of Jungkook. She was humiliated as well, but she kept her cool by picturing him consuming her falsehoods.

"I'll be there in a minute. Go!" He repeats, leaving her waist, as she glances at her family one final time, hugging Soo hyuk and turning to depart. When he returned his gaze to Mr Lee, she had already left the scene. Mr Lee was no longer terrified or guilty as he had been a moment before. Perhaps his ego was so large that he refused to recognise that he was always at fault.

"I'm aware of what you were up to, Mr Lee. But I don't want you to start doing it right away. I expect you to keep as far away from her as you possibly can." In a breath, he says, pointing his index finger to him, his other on his hip. "How can you expect me to do that, and why would I? Of course, she is my daughter." "That doesn't mean she has to bear and take everything you give and is going to give," he said as he approached him. Mr Lee let out a weak sigh as he spoke.
