"But now what, princess?" Before turning around hastily while still seated on the bed and chewing her lips in embarrassment the CD dropped from her fingers and onto the bed. "Now what?" He repeats.
He was leaning against the door frame and appeared to have just gotten out of the shower. His wet hair was lined up over his forehead, glasses sparkled over his brown eyes, and silver thuds hung from his ear. He was still wearing casual clothing because it was Sunday and he wanted to work from home.
"What now?" Nothing," she oddly grinned and stood up, clutching the album and placing it on the table next the bed. "But I heard something else," he said as he rose up and taunted her even more. "I said nothing, and it's really nothing." As she took a step forward to exit the room, he grabbed her elbow and forced her to look at him.
"What made you get up so early?" He inquired, his palm resting on the wall next to her rather than the door frame. "Mom had something for me, so—" her voice trailed off as she watched his stare wander from her eyes down her nose and finally to her lips, but only for a second before returning to the eyes yet again.
"Hmm," he hums, taking a long breath and forgetting to let go of her hand. "Good morning." As she stated, she was releasing herself before kissing him on the left chin because she couldn't reach his cheeks. The man is as tall as the tree in front of her. before fleeing and leaving him dumbfounded in his tracks.
Mrs Jeon stopped her as she was ready to go down the steps. "Would you like to accompany me to the orphanage once more, sweetie? Like the last time? The kids there were in an accident, and I'd like to go check on them." She informed her with a sigh. "Of course, let's go, Mom." Mrs. Jeon smiled as she added, "Wait for me sweetie, let me grab my purse."
Mrs Jeon was preparing to depart when Jungkook asked, "Going somewhere?" She nodded and looked at the young woman, her attention drifting away from Jungkook and her. "I'm sorry, Jeon, but I have to borrow your wife for a moment." She shrugged, dragging Y/n to her room, leaving him perplexed yet again. But he still went to the leaving room and opened his laptop, working on it without much thought.
"Eat something before you start working." Mrs. Jeon appears from nowhere and makes a remark to him. He nodded as he watched his mother and her move outside, but before they were completely out, Y/n turned to look at him, waving her tiny hand before he closed the door behind her. He exhaled angrily, as the empty corridor began to feel too lonely, or he was too stubborn to admit that he was already missing her.
To continue working, he gets some bread with juice and brings it to the living room where he was seated before placing it on the table. As he sat down to eat, the doorbell rang unexpectedly, and he stood up, thinking it was them and that they must have forgotten something and needed to return home.
"Y/n," he claimed, but as he opened the door, he was confronted with the bothersome sight of Taehyung brightly smiling at the prospect of him being Y/n, which he was not. "Oh! Sorry, I misread it as Y/n." Taehyung sighed, but was whisked away by Nein by his waist. Jungkook stood there in stillness, his arms crossed across his chest. "Oh Jungkook," she grinned, "we're here to get Y/n," she said, trying to see over his shoulder, which wasn't too tough for her taller self.
