"She's dead, she's dead, she's dead," the words rang in her ear, squeezing her heart in agony as she inhaled heavily. As she watches the hospital nurse transfer her mother's limp body with no life inside, cold sweat drips down her face and down her neck. She yelled and wailed, tumbling to the floor, but no one came to collect her broken self, no one came to embrace her.

She screamed, clutching the pillar beside her, not to take her mother away, but they did not stop. They were informed that her mother had died in an accident, that her face was difficult to discern, and that the only source to confirm her identity was the identification card in her purse. It was a terrific accident; she was riding her car when she lost control and smashed into a large vehicle.

No one glanced at the tiny soul who was crying; her father assumed she was doing everything for attention, and her aunt was too preoccupied with caring for her father. "Please, please, please don't take her. She wailed even louder, when they started rolling the stretcher down the hospital corridor . "Please don't take her, please leave her."

She sobbed as she ran to hug her mother and never let go, but that never happened when her father caught her by the elbow, causing her to tumble backwards, but he was the least bothered. He didn't even appear to be bothered by the circumstance. "Appa, please tell them to stop," she pleaded, shaking his leg beside her. "No...no appa, stop them, please, please, please......" She exhaled heavily as she woke up, soaking in her own cold sweat.

It took her a few moments to take in the surroundings. She looks around the dimly lit room, but Jungkook is nowhere to be found, despite the fact that she thought she was with him the night before. "Not again, please," she mumbles as her lips tremble. Tears began to drip from the brim of her eyes, streaming down her cheeks, so she cupped her face, forcefully rubbing it up and down until it began to ache. Her tears irritate her skin, yet she is not allergic to them.

When the door to the washroom opened, she saw Jungkook in his suit, well bathed, droplets of water falling from the top of his damped hair, which was sticking to his forehead, as he kept wiping it with his thumb.

She gets up, no longer looking at him, after noticing him staring at her face, as if trying to figure out something. "You don't need to hurry, we still have enough time before we leave," he said unexpectedly, causing her to glance at him for a second before nodding and leaving for the washroom.

But she was tucked back with the grip on her wrist, and she turned to see him in the eyes, but quickly turned away since it was difficult to maintain eye contact with his frigid gaze. "Are you feeling okay?" He inquires, taking a step closer, yet not leaving her, as if she would vanish the moment he did. "Yeah- but what would happen to me?"

Her voice was harsh from the nightmare she had, which drew his attention even more, as he tightened his previously lax grip. "I just had a nightmare," she said, as he left her hand but not before massaging it, perhaps it was his way to convey affection and certainty. "Here, take it," he said, handing her a half-glass of water. She gulped it down quickly, demonstrating how afraid and anxious she felt.
