Her sickness was exacerbated by the white walls, bed, curtain, ceiling, fan, table, floor, pillows, and chair. She felt herself losing consciousness but attempted to hold on for a little longer because it was almost time for her to be fed.

She was thirsty, but no one bothered to ask her for it; she assumed they would let her leave after a while, but they never did. They never asked what they wanted from her, simply locked her up like a deer in a cage.

She begged, wept, screamed, and hoped, but everything appeared to crumble around her day by day. She's lost track of how many weeks and months she's spent here, and she's forgetting everything. She was terrified to forget herself, her identity, how she was, and what this was all about.

Why was she forced to go through this? She knew who was behind everything, including her own anguish. She was well aware of how the selfishness and evilness of the individuals she thought were angels captured her from the world, and no one knew anything about her or where she was.

She was afraid to forget everything, every betrayal, every suffering, every struggle she went through, but she was undoubtedly delighted to forget them and all that caused her anguish, still she did not want to. Because even the recollections caused her anguish; it was the memory of people she loved, unconditionally adored, that she would die rather than remove them from her life.

Her eyes welled up with tears as she felt her body limp and fall to the ground in dehydration, but before she could pass out, she saw the foggy vision of someone approaching her, and everything went dark.

"Let's go Y/n," Nein says, pulling on her hand as she wore her lab coat and hung her identity card around her neck before being dragged out of the staff room, "why so in hurry nini, calm your tits down," she winces in displeasure.

"We don't want to be late, I told you that we are going to have a new head doctor, right?" Nein turned to face her, sighing and cupping her sides, as she turned to continue walking. Her lips formed a circle in acknowledgment, and she followed her buddy, her short locks bouncing as she skipped her steps.

As she walks down the hall, she is greeted by a swarm of seniors and staff, with Nein grabbing her hand and guiding her to a seat on the side. "However, why are we here?" she inquired, capturing the attention of her friend, who was most likely busy gawking over the room. "To welcome him, I heard he's one of those strict people around here," Nein said flatly.

As she finished, y/n felt the cold breeze from the open window hit her face and naked arms. As she tried to yank the silky white curtain out of her face, it ruffled with the breeze and obscured her eyesight from the front where she saw the hazy image of a man entering.

When it eventually moved out, she was greeted by the man who had been back facing her talking with the director. She was so preoccupied with the curtains that she didn't notice him approaching, and he had already introduced himself to everyone, she felt so stupid to not even know his name.
