The two upper rank demons ran through a village, they had just killed a hashira together and were now finding their way back to Douma's cult. As the two ran together the blond paused, causing his inferior to stop aswell.

"Oh my goodness! How cute!" The rainbow eyed man squealed, picking up the black and white kitten, as he was playing with the kitten he received a disappointed look from his friend. "Isn't he just the cutest?" Douma said bringing the kitten closer to his co-workers face, trying to get the other to think about letting him take in the poor thing.

"It is cute, but what if it has rabies or something?" The hesitant demon said, the blond gave him a disappointed look. "But he's so cute!" He said, he continued to play with the kitten, earning a scratch on the face. "Oww!" Douma whined childishly.

"That's exactly why you shouldn't take it in." Akaza said, taking the kitten out of the hands of his superior, placing it down and watching the cat run away, "Aw..why would you do that?" The blond said disappointedly making sure he didn't take his eyes off the kitten so he could chase it.

"It would be selfish to adopt a kitten that you can't take care of, and didn't you eat a bird before?" The pink haired man scolded, "No!"

"So you're telling me that Gyutaro and Daki were lying?" Akaza said, watching the blond try to come up with an excuse, "Let's just go to your cult and hang out there, alright?" The shorter offered, Douma nodded and walked behind his friend, waiting for a chance to steal the kitten that was in the alleyway while nobody was looking.

While Akaza was ranting about one of his missions Douma already had the kitten in his hands, covering its little mouth to make sure it doesn't meow and alert Akaza.

The two finally got to Douma's cult and they made their way to his room, the blond still had the cat hidden in his arms though, he didn't want his co-worker to throw it out yet again, he knew that the other didn't really like animals, just then the kitten meowed, Douma had forgotten to cover its mouth like last time. Akaza faced Douma and looked at his hands.

"Did you seriously take that kitten? What if it had a mom and siblings?" Akaza asked disappointedly, "Well I just thought a kitten would be nice to have around! Plus, I'll be the one taking care of him so don't worry about him." Douma said, he stopped trying to hide the cat and started to pet its soft fur, "Fine, but you do know cats don't live forever like us, right?" Akaza asked, watching the kitten try to escape the blond.

"I know, but I'm going to give him the best cat life ever!" Douma replied. He picked up the kitten and placed it on his friend's lap, watching him freak out, "Is something wrong?" Douma questioned, "I'm not used to having a kitten on top of me! What if it poops?!" The striped demon panicked.

"If it does then you can just get yourself cleaned up, it's not like it's radioactive or something." Douma teased, his advice didn't really help Akaza though, he still continued to panic when the kitten started climbing on him. "Get it off!" Akaza screamed, sounding like a little girl, causing Douma to laugh at him, picking the cat off of his shoulder.

"You're such a baby!" Douma said laughing, "that's not true." Akaza protested, crossing his arms and acting as if it offended him.

"What should we name him?" Douma asked, the other shrugged. "I'm thinking..stinky?" Douma suggested, "Who names their cat something like that?" Akaza said, laughing at the name suggestion.

"Well I don't see you coming up with anything! Does coochie sound better?" Douma said, "What are these name suggestions dude?" Akaza continued to laugh, "Okay last one, Sir.Whiskers!"

"Sir.Whiskers kind of sucks, let's go with stinky." Akaza said. "Yay!"
