Ellies P.O.V
Today is game day. My favourite day. We are at home against Man City. We are still unbeaten, we have drawn a couple though, but its close at the top between us, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs. Chelsea sitting at the top currently. It's going to be tough, but if we want a chance at winning the league this year than we need to be beating them or at least drawing. I've got every confidence in this team though.
It's been a week or so since Leah last stayed over, we haven't actually managed to spend much time together since then unfortunately, we have both been crazy busy outside of football so whenever one of us has been free, the other hasn't and vice versa. We've obviously been able to see each other at training but that's not the same. When we train were both very focussed, ok so we have the odd moment that pushes the boundaries slightly of how you would act with a team mate, but were not strictly just team mates anymore. All the girls in the team pretty much know about us, we don't technically hide it, it would be near on impossible to hide it anyway, all the team are really close, its like one big family.
I do miss her though, soft, I know. We do still try to speak to each other outside of training, even when were both or one of us are busy.
Flashback 1:
I FaceTime Leah.
"Hello beautiful" I smile as soon as her pretty face pops up on my phone
"Hi" Leah smiles shyly
I roll my eyes "Your definitely NOT shy" I smirk
"Me? I am" Leah acts innocent
"Hmmm...Are you ok?"
"I am now, are you?" Leah smiles
"Cute. I am" I laugh
"Hi Ellie" Alex pops her head into the screen and waves
"Hi Alex, you alright?"
"Yes thank you, are you?"
"All good thanks, you look nice" I smile as I see Alex stood behind Leah, adjusting her outfit in the mirror
"Er....you haven't even said I look nice yet" Leah butts in
I start laughing "You haven't shown me what your wearing yet"
Alex grabs Leah's phone and steps back as Leah stands up so I can see her, shes doing sill poses
"Twitttt Twoooooo, give us a twirl"
Leah spins around so I can see. Both Alex and I wolf whistling, bigging her up. Leah just acting daft.
"Babe, you look gorgeous, as always" Leah now taking the phone back and smiling back at me
"Thanks" she smiles "What are you doing tonight?"
"I'm going out for some food with Jen, Beth, Viv, Lia and Caitlin"
"Mmmm, what are you wearing?" Leah smirks and raises her eyebrow
"We're both wearing more than what I'd want us to be wearing" I smirk
"Uuuuhummm" Alex pretends to cough in the background. All of us start laughing.
Alex pops her head back on screen "I hate to break you two love birds up but Leah we've got to go now"
"Sorry babe" Leah smiles
"It's alright" I smile "Have a good night ladies, I hope it all goes well"
"Thanks, Bye Ellie" Alex waves
"Thanks, have fun with the girls" Leah waves
"Thanks see ya later babe"
We both blow each other kiss. I notice Alex jokingly blowing a kiss in the background too, I laugh and blow Alex one back.
