Ellies P.O.V

The last few months have been crazy. Leah and I both enjoyed our summer break together, with Archie, and we were completely and utterly in love, in our own little love bubble, particularly after Leah proposed to me and I suppose, I re-proposed to her. I was completely shocked when she proposed, not something I expected at all but it was a good surprise. Honestly, although I had her ring, I didn't have anything actually planned to propose to her. I knew I wanted to marry her, but I was just scared about timing. Last time we got engaged we didn't even really start talking about the wedding, well this time, that's not the case...We...or Leah was on it.

Flashback:

"Right, let's both write down our must haves, nice to haves and don't want and then we can compare" Leah says as we settle on the sofa one evening, handing me a notepad and a pen

"This could be...interesting"

"Maybe this will tell us if we really are compatible or not" Leah laughs

We both get to work writing down what we would like or see our wedding to be like and after some time both of us are ready to compare.

"Ok...so must haves?" Leah asks, she's taking this very seriously

"You"

Her serious face soon turning into a smile as she starts laughing "Kinda obvious, no?"

"Well...it was a close call between must have and don't want to be honest"

"You made a good call"

"I think so too" I lean over and place my lips onto hers, a hum escaping Leah's lips

"Do you want to hear one of mine?" She says, breaking our contact

"Of course Queen"

Leah takes a breath, clearly nervous with what she is about to say "A big...ish wedding..."

"A don't want, right?" I raise an eyebrow

"Hmm...a must have" she whispers

"Oftt...we aren't compatible" I laugh "I wrote a small wedding"

"Really?" She looks genuinely shocked

"Yeah!"

"You don't want a big wedding?"

"Not really. I'd fly us both out to vegas and get married by Elvis if it was all completely left to me"

She laughs "Ok, well let's definitely not leave that up to you then"

"Don't wants?" I ask

"Hmm...no animals"

"Animals?" I laugh "Why would we have animals at the wedding?"

"Well some people do! Swans, horses, unicorns!"

"We aren't fucking posh and becks Leah"

"Of woso" both of us burst out laughing

"What about yours?" She asks, once our laughs died down

"I don't want an aisle walk"

"What? Why?"

"I don't know. I just...don't"

"What about your Dad?"

I start laughing "Do you really think my Dad would be comfortable walking down an aisle?"

"Hmm...fair" Leah laughs, a soft smile forming on her face "Whatever you want"

"A small wedding?"

"Hmm...well not whatever you want"
