Narration by Liam Kyle
"Yes mother, I'm sorry Bill and Helena couldn't come too. Helena wanted to visit her folks in Bavaria and Billy stayed so he could work on his books. I love you too."
I finally got away from my mother, that woman could talk you to death.
"You know Liam," said Reggie, "as long as we're here, we should go see the Leap Castle."
"That place is closed up," I told her, "we even couldn't break into there when we were kids."
"Liam, have you forgotten that your son gave as god powers?"
"We are supposed to be careful about how we use our god powers, after all Billy ended up destroying reality, when he thought Lilith."
"We don't have to create any new timelines. We can just teleport inside the castle."
"You still want to go in there and see a ghost?" I asked, "If the stories about that castle are true, and that place is very dangerous."
"Nothing we can't handle, ever since we were children, we were known as the kickboxing twins. Now, with God power, we can defend ourselves against anything that tries to harm us."
Reggie was smiling at me. She was right, we could just teleport inside the castle.
"Alright, maybe this would be good material for Billy's books."
Leap Castle in Offaly, Ireland; it was the stronghold of the powerful and vicious O'Carroll family. They hired many mercenary soldiers to kill for them and when the soldiers when came back looking for payment, the O'Carrolls murdered them in the castle.
We teleported into the castle's courtyard, all looked deserted.
As we entered the castle, I nervously looked around with wide eyes. It was just like the stories we used to hear about the Leap Castle, a place where no one could escape from. The walls were made up of dense moss, and the ceiling was filled with cobwebs. As we walked deeper into the castle, we heard the sound of someone crying.
Reggie immediately went ahead to investigate while I followed behind. We soon found a small room filled with coffins. There were six of them, and each one was covered with a white shroud. We realized that they were the bodies of the mercenary soldiers who had been killed in the castle.
"Get out..." said a deep voice.
"Why was that?" Reggie said.
"Must be one of the ghosts." I told her.
We hearts were racing as we stepped into the next room. It was dark and eerie, with a faint whispering sound coming from the walls. We could see the outline of a woman in the corner, and we immediately knew that it was a ghost.
As we got closer to the ghost, it began to talk to us. "You must leave this place at once. It is not a safe place for mortals."
"Who are you?" I asked
"Please go!"
The woman vanished!
We continued to explore the castle, and we found secret passageways and hidden rooms. We even found a treasure chest filled with gold and jewels. But we knew we had to leave the castle soon, because we couldn't stay there forever.
" I think this is enough material for Billy to write about." Said Reggie, "Shall we go?"
"One last thing," I said, "I want to see the infamous bloody chapel."
In the corner of the courtyard, was an old door covered with dust and cobwebs.
I pushed open the door and we found ourselves in a dimly-lit chapel. The walls were covered in paintings depicting the bloody battles between the O'Carrall and the MacGillyvough clans. The floor was covered in blood!
In one of the corners, was an open trapdoor leading to the Oubliette. A ton of sharp wooden spikes and a dozen skeletons.
"Okay, I think we've seen enough." I said, "Let's go."
Suddenly lightning struck the center of the courtyard with a loud crash!
The ground began to break open and a giant hand reached out of the ground.
The ferocious elemental demon?
We both got scared and tried to run, but the hand grabbed us both. We both fought, trying to get free, but the hand was too strong.
A gigantic beast about the size of a building poked its head out of the ground. It was a giant reddish three headed dog-like monster with one eye in each of its heads and a lion's mane around each neck.
The Cerberus?
The beast breathed fire as it roared.
"Looks like I have no choice..." I said as I held my hands up with my palms together, "Fierce...bomb..."
The hands lit up with energy!
"...HA!"
The beast was disintegrated in a matter of seconds, and we were free.
"Go shot bro." Said Reggie
"Come on sis, let's go back to the hotel."
As we looked at the demolished castle, Reggie and I couldn't believe what had just happened. We had just avoided a deadly monster and escaped from a terrifying place.
As we stepped out of the castle, we looked back at it with sadness in our hearts. It was a place of bloodshed and violence, but it had also been a place of wonder and mystery. We had been given a glimpse into the unknown, and we knew that we would never forget it.
We returned to the hotel, feeling exhausted and shaken. But we also felt satisfied, knowing that we had seen something extraordinary. We had been given a glimpse into the unknown, and we would always carry that memory with us.
As we packed our bags and prepared to leave, we knew that we would always look back on our adventure with a sense of wonder and awe. It had been a terrifying and dangerous journey, but it had also been a magical and incredible one.
