Next was My mother and Jorge, the Brazilian jiu-jitsu expert. The two fighters squared off in the center of the ring, both of them eager to prove themselves.
Jorge was the first to make a move, throwing a quick jab that my mother easily dodged. She responded with a kick to Jorge's ribs, which he was only able to block at the last second.
The two fighters continued to trade blows, neither of them gaining the upper hand. It was clear that they were evenly matched, but that didn't stop either of them from giving it their all.
My mother was a skilled fighter, but Jorge was a relentless opponent.
He refused to give up, even when the odds were stacked against him. Eventually, my mother's superior experience and skill paid off, and she was able to wear down Jorge and eventually take him down.
"Fist of the devil!"
"Winner by knockout, Helena Kyle!"
"You fought well," said my mother, offering her hand.
"Thanks, you too," said Jorge, taking her hand.
