Akane bowed.
I bowed back and got into my fighting stance.
Akane moved towards me as she blocked my punches. She grabbed my arm and threw me onto the ground.
Akane tried to choke me, but I managed to push her back.
I kicked Akane, but she caught my leg, and tossed me around.
She let go, and I landed hard on my back.Akane grabbed my legs, and was trying to apply a leg lock. I kicked her off of me.
When I got up off of the ground, Akane tackled me, and we began to roll around on the ground.
She rolled on top of me and was trying to choke me out.I was able to get one of my arms free, and pushed her back.
Before I could get up, Akane was on top of me again; in seconds she had me in an armbar.
I tried to push myself free, but she had a firm grip.
I summoned all of my strength and lifted Akane's body into the air; she still had the armbar locked in.
I stood up, and slammed her to the ground, breaking the hold.Akane was down, but not out.
I tried to attack, but she blocked my punches and threw me to the ground.
'Alright,' I thought, 'she's a tough one. If I don't want to use my my energy with the fierce bomb or charge up techniques, I'm going to have to attack her arms. If a grappler can't use their arms, then they can't do much."
Akane covered up her face as I attacked again. Using a combination of Karate chops, Wing Chun and Praying mantis Kung fu; I worked on her arms and wrists.
It worked.
Her defense dropped, and I was able to connect a few hits.
After a few more strikes, Akane was on the defensive, shaking her arms as if they were heavy.
She backed up, and I followed.
My front leg was bent and the other was straightened. This was a very firm and steady stance in taekwondo. I positioned my fingers in the form of a dragon's claws.
I hopped on one foot toward Akane, preparing to unleash a series of dangerous kicks.
I began with a right roundhouse, striking the side of her torso, and followed up with a left dragon's claw.
Akane fell backwards and I went in for the finishing blow.
"Fist of the devil!"
I unleashed a devastating punch, knocking her across the ring.
Akane was unconscious, and the announcer ran over to her."She is out! The winner is Bill!"
Akane woke up and the two of us shook hands.
"You're good." Said Akane, "No one has ever attacked my arms before. You must have fought a judoka before."
I smiled.
"I've never fought a judoka. I just learn fast."
Akane smiled.
"I think your father has taught you a few things."
I nodded.
"Yeah, my dad's a great teacher."
We bowed to each other and left the arena.Akane was right. My dad did teach me a lot.
I walked back over to my mom, and she gave me a hug.
