Akane took a deep breath, preparing herself for the battle.
Johnny McDonald smirked at her, clearly not taking her seriously.
It was kickboxing vs Judo!
Akane was the first to move, lunging forward and throwing a kick.
Johnny easily dodged the attack and retaliated with a punch, which Akane also avoided.
They exchanged a few more blows before Johnny gained the upper hand, and pinned her down.
He landed a few punches before Akane managed to escape and regain her footing.
Johnny lunged at her again, but this time, Akane was ready.
She caught his punch and flipped him over, slamming him onto the ground.
She then straddled him and started raining down punches, knocking him unconscious.
"Winner is Akane Hoki."
"Impressive," said Johnny as Akane helped him up.
"You're a tough opponent."
"So are you," said Akane.
The two fighters shook hands and Akane left the arena.
Johnny knew that he could not take his opponents lightly anymore.
