"How could you leave Ria with that man?" Sarah shouted at Angelo furiously.
"I didn't know he would kidnap her!"
"Of course he would! After what he knew..."
"What he knows? About what?!" Angelo said raising his voice.
"I'll explain things later I promise. For now, we need to find Ria. Please Angelo
I need your help now."
Sarah was nearly frantic as she informed the guards of her daughter's
disappearance. Angelo was in Sarah's office checking security footage for
signs of where Ria and Gerald might have gone. Angelo saw that they were
last seen leaving the parking lot so he relayed he message to his fiancé.
Sarah rushed over to the entrance in desperation only to be nearly run over
by a sleek black Bentley car. One of the car's doors opened and Sarah let out
a sigh of relief as Ria lept into her arms.
She held Ria tight and nearly wept. "Mama look! Daddy!", Ria cried as she
started to pull Sarah towards the car. Ria's mother stood still and just looked
across to the open door. Gerald Salinger just sat there with a smug smile.
Sarah would give anything to wipe said smirk off his pretty face.
"Gerald, can I talk to you for a minute?"
"Sure. Just get inside the car."
"No. You'll have to step out of the car." Sarah said indignantly. "Ria, sweetie
go back to the office with Angelo okay?"
"No! Stay wid Daddy!"
"Ria don't be stubborn. Do as Mama says." Ria just pouted and ran back to sit
inside Gerald's car. Gerald went out the other side and walked up to Sarah.
She couldn't help but notice how handsome he still was. It just made her hate
him all the more.
