Sarah met with her grandfather a month after she found out that she was
pregnant. Her grandfather had been passive after she had told him about the
child but later accepted the news as a blessing. Leo had been cautious into
asking who the father is. Sarah had been silent and non-cooperative into
telling the details.
"So what are your plans? I'll support you all the way, you know that." Leo said.
"Thanks, Papa. I know you'll be at my side always but the truth is I still don't
know what to do."
"Well, one thing I know for sure is that you'll be keeping the child. Do that for
me at least. Don't worry, I'll help you with raising the child in every way I can."
"Oh Papa, I'm sure you'll do exactly that. I just don't know if I'm ready for all of
this."
"Don't worry Sarah. Motherhood tends to come naturally to women I've heard.
I know that your mother in particular took parenting seriously."
"Was she a good mother? Did she take good care of me?"
"I suppose there were times when it was stressing her, but she loved you so
much that I don't think it mattered."
"Thank you Papa. I'm really happy you're here, I wouldn't know what to do if
you weren't."
"That's what family is for princess. By the way, I'm respecting your decision to
not mention who the father is, but I assume there won't be any legal problems
later?"
"Don't worry about it Papa. I'll take care of it.'
"Well, at least hire my lawyers, they're the best I know of."
