Sarah sat accross Rachel at the garden's foyer enjoying their morning meal.
They had an early start today, both relish the morning walk around the village.
Rachel helped herself to an enormous slab of bacon and scrambled eggs
and placed it on her plate. While Sarah was being served her English
breakfast tea, she couldn't help but laugh at Rachel's current appetite and her
sudden cravings.
"Sis, gutom ako eh. Sige ka, when it's your turn to be pregnant, tatawan din
kita."
"Alright Sis, alam mo ikaw 'tong health buff sa atin. May pa Vegan diet ka pa
dati then all of a sudden that's been thrown out of the window kasi you're
making your pregnancy as an excuse."
"Tama ka naman dyan Sis, ngayon lang ulit ako nakatikim ng ganito. This
is my chance to indulge." Rachel retorted.
Sarah enjoyed her first few of days since arriving Manila, Rachel took her to
hippest club spots and dined with her at different restaurants. They also
visited the site where Anthony's new branch will be launched. At a certain time
of the day, Sarah would drop at their Manila office to speak with her staff in
Paris. She was relieved that her staff are really good and competent running
things for her since her absence.
"So ngayon ba dating ni Anthony?" Sarah asked.
"Yes."
Rachel mentioned she was nervous seeing Anthony again whom she hadn't
laid eyes on since they got married. Sarah sense that Rachel is suddenly
having confused feelings for Anthony. Though she had earlier told Sarah in
their past conversations that she didn't have any feelings for Anthony. But
Sarah knew her well and she's starting to see symptoms that she might be
falling for him.
Sarah also knew better and told Rachel about what she feels. Anthony might
not feel the same way towards her. She'd hate to see Rachel disappointed
and heartbroken in the long run. Rachel agreed, she knew there is nothing
sure about Anthony, all they have is an arrangement.
