Noah plunged beneath the cold water. It surrounded him, feeling like he was trapped.

Noah kicked up, surfacing. He flicked his hair back, beginning to tread water. He shivered. He was a good swimmer; he'd been on the team freshman and sophomore year before deciding that Speedos were not for him.

"Noah!" He heard. Noah turned. Dolph swam towards him. "I'm glad you're okay," Dolph said once he was near. Dolph's dark hair was smattered across his forehead, and his eyes looked extra blue in the ocean water.

Not far over, they heard another splash into the water. They looked at each other before swimming towards the splash. Soon, Shakira's head appeared above the water, spluttering, with a thick sheet of wet blonde hair covering her face.

She coughed up water. Noah lightly patted her back.

"You good?" he asked.

She let out a final cough. "Yeah." Shakira pushed her hair out of her face. "That was rough."

"Well, yeah, you're not supposed to drink the water," said Dolph, chuckling. Then his face turned serious. "Let's go west. Ace and Abi should be down soon."

As if on cue, Ace dropped out of the sky. Seconds later, his head popped up.

"ACE!" Shakira called before hastily breast stroking towards Ace. He turned and wrapped her in his arms.

"I'm really freaking glad you're okay, Blondie," he whispered.

She laughed. "Ditto."

Behind them, Noah raised a brow at Dolph, who shrugged.

Nearby, a scream followed by a splash sounded in the water. Ace, Shakira, Dolph, and Noah looked at each other before swimming as fast as possible towards where Abi had jumped.

They saw an arm pop up over the surface, but nothing more.

"ABI!!" Noah shouted, though the waves were so loud he could barely be heard. He swam around, trying to find her. He dove under the water.

"Guys..." Dolph said, eyes looking ahead. "GUYS GUYS GUYS GUYS GUYS!"

"What?!" Ace responded in annoyance. He turned to see what Dolph was talking about before whispering, "Oh shit," eyes wide.

Shakira followed their gaze and gasped. The jet was hurtling downwards rapidly, not far from where they were. "Noah..." she called, a warning in her voice.

His head popped up. "ABI!!"

Dolph grabbed him. "Noah, we have to get away before-" Dolph screamed. So did Shakira.

"It's just like The Incredibles! We have to dive underwater and get away from the-" The jet hit the ocean.

They took one last breath before getting sucked beneath the giant wave. Dolph felt the water engulfing him, in his nose, his mouth, his eyes. Shakira's hair whipped in her face. Noah reached around, feeling for Abi underneath the water. He found someone, grabbing around her waist for dear life as the water blew over them.

Someone was slammed into Ace, and as he felt the long hair, he clung onto Shakira.

Finally, though the waves were still strong, they had died down significantly. Or at least enough that Dolph could kick up to the surface. He took a deep, fresh breath of cool air and glanced around. Unfortunately, he couldn't see any of his friends.

"SHAKIRA?!" he yelled. "ACE?! ABI!? NOAH?!"

Another wave came. He dove back under. "ANYBODY?!"

There was nowhere to go. He didn't know what to do. He was only surrounded by water.

And then, he saw something. A large something. A boat!

Dolph waved his arms around. "HELLO! I'M OUT HERE! TRAPPED AT SEA! HELP! PLEASE! S.O.S!"

But as the boat drew nearer, Dolph's face paled. "Oh, no," he mumbled.

Noah was running out of air. And he knew Abi couldn't be doing too well either.

With all of his might, Noah swam upwards, and while he may have been too cold and tired to know for sure, he thought Abi was helping.

At long last, he surfaced. He drank in the air, gulping it down. "Abi!" he shouted, embracing her. She had broken away from him when they came up for air, and he was just so glad she was okay.

"Hey, hey, hey, man. Not a hugger." The voice was too low and too raspy to be Abi. Noah held her at arm's length.

"Shakira?!" Noah exclaimed when he saw the face of someone who was not his girlfriend.

Shakira was equally confused. "Noah? I thought you were... never mind."

"But, if you're here, then where's Abi?" He paused, looking around. "And Ace and Dolph?"

Shakira spun around. "Crap." And then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a giant boat. "Noah, look!"

He turned, then shook his head saying, "Nuh-uh. I'm not getting on that thing until I find my girlfriend!"

"She's probably already on the boat!" Shakira said, though she wasn't too positive herself. Noah glanced at her out of the corner of his eye.

The boat got closer. "Hey, that boat kind of looks like..." Shakira started. But then her eyes widened and her and Noah tried to swim away.

The boat, however, was too fast.

Ace dragged Shakira up to the surface of the water. C'mon, he thought to himself. We're so close. Almost there, almost...aha!

Ace inhaled sharply, then coughed.

"Shakira..." he muttered when the coughing fit was over. She had gone completely limp, blacking out underwater, it seemed. "Wait a second. You're not Shakira... ABI?"

Abi didn't respond, for she was still unconscious. Ace cursed, making sure to keep Abi's head above water.

He didn't know CPR, and even if he did, it would be useless. He was treading water in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. And soon, he knew, he'd be tired.

"SHAKIRA?! NOAH?! DOLPH?!"

He was answered by the rough sounds of waves.

"Gah, shit," he groaned. Then, he screamed a different swear word as loud as he could.

He sloshed around in the water, dragging Abi with him. Ace didn't know what to do. The jet had crashed, now he'd lost all his friends, and he was left with a knocked-out Abi. Pretty much, life couldn't get any worse right now.

He felt a trickle on his nose.

No big deal, he thought. Just the water.

But then he heard thunder. "Son of a-" he said.

The rain began to pour heavier. And the sky turned an angry dark grey. Out of frustration, Ace punched the water with the hand not holding Abi.

Then, a miracle, Ace heard a foghorn. His eyes lit up. "Yes! Yes! Oh bloody hell yes! WE'RE RIGHT HERE! HELP!"

The boat neared. Through the rain, he could barely see it. He just heard a voice shout, "I see you! We will save you soon!"

"Oh, thank God," he sighed. Suddenly, he felt a tug on his body. He was being sucked under the water!

"Bloody hell. Wait! Hey, wait!" Ace (with Abi in his arms) was yanked beneath the ocean and pulled into something.

But the water in his lungs was too much, and he too passed out.
