17. File.

I was waiting for Brian to finish cooking while I was doing my part on our thesis. This is our last project before graduation that's why malaki ang part niya sa grades namin

Sakto naman nang natapos ako ay natapos na din siya sa pagluluto.

Our thesis was a group work. Nakakalungkot dahil hindi ko kagroup si Bria. But it's fine. I know there will be a day na hindi naman kami laging magiging magkasama.

It's sad to say but we will walk on different paths some day.

Nagpunta na ako sa maliit na dinning ni Brian nang tinawag niya ako. 

"Ta-da!" He said proudly as he removed the cover of his cooking.

He cooked lasagna and roasted zucchini. Just by looking at it made me hungry. They looked so appetizing!

Especially the lasagna, it's so cheesy!

He smirked at my shocked reaction. "I worked hard for that." 

He looked so cute being proud kaya natawa ako. 

"What's the occasion?" 

Lumapit siya at pinalibot ang kanyang braso sa aking katawan. He stole a quick shallow kiss from me. "It's because my girlfriend works so hard that she deserves delicious foods made with love."

I held my lips and slapped his arms. "You stole a kiss!" I exclaimed kahit hindi pa din mawala ang ngiti sa labi.

He smirked. 

"Then gumanti ka!" He fired back with an accent.

Tumawa ako. Dahil ang cute niya talaga kapag nagtatagalog!

"Ang landi!" 

Tumawa siya. He hugged me again and swayed our body.

"I love you today and always, Nahtalliey. . ." He whispered and kissed my temple.

Napangiti ako at pumikit para damhin ang yakap niya. "I love you too, my future attorney."

I feel so happy with him that I wanted the time to stop and just let us stay like this. It's just a simple dinner but for me, no matter how simple or expensive it is, as long as it's with him I'm content.

We became busy with the following days. We both completely understand that our studies comes first. 

Love can wait.

Our love shouldn't be selfish.

It was weekend when I went back to the mansion but I just found myself hiding behind the door with my parents shouting at each other.

It felt illegal to listen to them pero hindi ko naman sinasadya na marinig dahil ayaw ko naman umalis sa pinagtataguan kasi malalaman nila nakikita ko silang nag-aaway na ayaw nilang ipakita sa akin.

"Ito nanaman ba, Bea?! Ulit-ulit na lang tayo dito!" Sigaw ni Daddy.

I jumped a bit as I closed my eyes because I got startled at Daddy's shout.

"Bakit?! Can you blame me?! You cheated before! Once a cheater will always be a cheater!" 

I froze at what I've heard.
