Long ago, when the tribes lived together in harmony, there were seven gods: the god of time, water, the underworld, ground, light, and the shadowland. Life was perfect until an unexpected horror struck. No one knew how it got through or where it came from. This creature, a grotesque mix of human and ink monster, wreaked havoc across the realm. But in the end, the gods triumphed, sealing the beast away in a dimension far from our own. To ensure their people's safety, the gods decided to dismantle the key to its prison, each taking a part and going their separate ways. These parts, curiously enough, became amulets-mystical and powerful. And so, they scattered, and life returned to normal.

"Except for me becoming overlord and changing absolutely everything!" Ravi laughed, snapping the book shut in front of a circle of wide-eyed children.

Jacklin shot her hand up eagerly. "We didn't mean the beginning beginning! We wanna know how it started! Like... how did you guys become heroes?" she giggled.

Ravi playfully scratched his chin. "I don't know... it's pretty long, and I don't want to bore you guys," he teased.

Angus pouted. "But Papa, you promised! I wanna know how you saved the world!" he whined.

Luke's excitement was barely contained. "Yes, Mr. Nova, we really, really wanna know!" he exclaimed, practically bouncing.

Ravi grinned at the children, enjoying their anticipation. "Well... I guess I don't mind sharing this story," he said, smirking as the kids erupted into applause and cheers.
