The group trudged through the front door, their movements heavy with fatigue. A tumult of emotions-concern, irritation, and weariness-stirred within them after the day's turmoil. Chester and Bunnicula gently eased Ravi onto the sofa. Despite his bruises and injuries from the fight, Ravi's eyelids began to quiver, and as they settled him down, he started to come around, his eyes slowly acclimating to the soft glow of their home.
"What... what happened?" Ravi murmured, his voice a faint, hoarse whisper.
Bunnicula knelt beside him, placing a comforting hand on Ravi's cheek and gently caressing his face. "You kind of got into it with... you know who." He flashed a sheepish grin, trying to lighten the mood but failing miserably against the weight of their current situation.
Ravi groaned, slowly sitting up, pain evident in every move. As he did, something slipped from his pocket and clattered onto the floor-the amulet. It skittered across the room and stopped in the center, glowing ominously. Ravi's eyes widened in horror. "WAIT! NO!" he shouted, but it was too late.
The amulet's glow intensified, and before anyone could react, a swirling time portal opened right in the middle of the living room. A bright, almost blinding light filled the space, and within it, a familiar scene unfolded-a grim vision, the same haunting warning Ravi had seen before. The prediction of the 'great danger' that loomed over them. The room fell into stunned silence, whispers and anxious glances darting around as they tried to process what was happening.
Chester was the first to speak, stepping forward with a furrowed brow. "You didn't tell me it could do that," he said, his tone more hurt than angry. It was clear Chester felt a wedge forming between them, assuming Ravi had been keeping secrets.
Ravi let out a nervous laugh, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "I, uh, might've forgotten to mention that little detail..." He made a lame excuse, quickly snatching the amulet and stuffing it back into his pocket, hoping to avoid further questions.
Kai crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow at Ravi. "Wait... so this thing actually predicts the future for us?" He still seemed to be processing everything, his usually laid-back demeanor replaced with confusion.
CC, who had been silent until now, spoke up, clearly annoyed. "If that's supposed to be our future, why was Purple Boy there?" he asked, his irritation evident in the way he spat out the nickname.
Chester's head snapped toward CC at the mention of 'Purple Boy.' "What? He was there?" His confusion was written all over his face.
Mint nodded, crossing her arms. "Yeah, you didn't see him? He was standing right beside you in the vision."
Chester groaned, rubbing his temples in frustration. "I thought that was just some random guy who looked like him," he muttered.
Ravi, lost in thought, suddenly recalled something from the day before. In a flash, he remembered catching a glimpse of CC and Bendy talking to someone with purple hair. His eyes widened as he connected the dots. "Oh my god..." he muttered under his breath, realization dawning on him.
Bunnicula, ever observant, raised an eyebrow. "What is it, Rav?" he asked, concern creeping into his voice.
Ravi turned to CC and Bendy, his expression serious. "CC, Bendy... tell me the truth. Was it Moxxie you two were talking to yesterday?" His gaze was intense, leaving no room for lies.
CC and Bendy exchanged awkward glances. CC shot Bendy a warning look, practically daring him to spill it. But something about Ravi's stare was too much for Bendy to handle. He couldn't keep it in anymore.
"OKAY, OKAY! ME AND CC MADE A DEAL WITH MOXXIE TO GET HIM BACK INTO THE GROUP!" Bendy blurted out, his voice loud and full of guilt, his fists clenched.
