Chester paced back and forth, his frustration palpable. "Why is he visiting now? All he does is cause trouble!" he groaned.
Bunnicula grinned nervously, trying to lighten the mood. "Well, you know what Mama always said: brothers, no matter what. Maybe if you actually got to know your brothers, you'd understand, Chester."
Chester rolled his eyes, his ears twitching in irritation. "Don't you dare bring up my seven other brothers into this! You know that's a very sensitive topic!"
Just then, Ravi sauntered into the room, sipping on his juice. "What's up?" he asked, casually leaning against the counter.
Chester crossed his arms and turned to Ravi. "Ravi, can you please tell Bunnicula that his brother can visit another time? Preferably never! All he does is brainwash Bunnicula into doing stupid things!"
Bunnicula gasped, clearly offended. "He doesn't do that! Maybe your brothers possess you into thinking my brother is all bad!" he retorted, pouting.
Ravi sighed, trying to mediate. "Well, Bunnicula hasn't seen his brother in a while. Might be nice to meet him," he suggested, yawning.
Chester's expression hardened. "You know what, if his brother causes trouble one last time, invite him while I'm not here." With that, Chester stormed off to his laboratory.
Bunnicula mocked Chester's retreating figure in annoyance. "But when his friends are visiting, I can't say a single thing! What a bunch of zucchinis," he muttered, rolling his eyes.
CC stepped in, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Maybe if we can get evidence that your brother is a little menace, it would prove your or Chester's point about him," he suggested with a grin.
Bendy nodded in agreement. "Yeah, that way you guys can stop fighting about all this."
Ravi smirked, eager to stir the pot. "Oh, I can get in on that action. Alright, I bet five bucks that Chester's right about Bunnicula's brother." He pulled out a five-dollar bill from his pocket and handed it to Bendy.
Bunnicula's jaw dropped. "Wait, you're on Chester's side?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
Ravi snickered. "I'm going with the option nobody else would choose," he replied with a sly smile.
Kai joined the scene, his interest piqued. "What are we betting?" he grinned.
After gathering all the bets, they heard a knock at the door, signaling the arrival of Bunnicula's brother.
Bunnicula opened the door, squatting to his little brother's level. "Hi, buddy! How have you been?" he asked, grinning.
His brother groaned, barely looking at Bunnicula. "I've been fine," he said curtly, walking past him with a scowl.
Kai leaned over to Mint and whispered, "Now I think I should've bet on Chester's argument."
Mint giggled softly, shaking her head. "And that's why I don't gamble," she replied, making her way to the couch where Moxxie was sitting, looking deep in thought.
Moxxie was mentally rehearsing ways to break the awkwardness that hung between him and the rest of the group, trying to find the right words to finally fit in.
Meanwhile, Bunson, Bunnicula's younger brother, was scheming. He needed to get Bunnicula alone and away from the others. A sly, toothy grin spread across his face as he formulated a plan.
As the group dispersed to their rooms, Bunson seized the opportunity. He slipped into Bunnicula's room, waiting in the shadows.
When Bunnicula finally entered, he jumped in surprise. "Bunson! I thought you left ages ago! What's up?" Bunnicula grinned, his tail twitching in excitement.
