Ravi was pacing back and forth, hands fidgeting, his antennae twitching with nervous energy. "What am I going to do? What if they think I'm a total Twinkie?! I mean, they haven't seen me in years. Years!" His voice hitched slightly, spiraling into anxious rambling. "They've been pushing me to get a girlfriend, but... well, I kinda went the other way. Who am I kidding? They didn't even see me grow up!" His pacing quickened, steps frantic as if his feet were trying to keep up with his racing thoughts.
"Babe, breathe," Bunnicula said softly, raising his hands in front of him and inhaling deeply, trying to coax Ravi into following his lead.
Ravi paused mid-step, his antennae drooping like wilting flowers. "I get it, I do, but... look at me!" He gestured wildly to himself, eyes wide with worry. "I've completely neglected my true form, and now I'm supposed to waltz in like, 'Hey, surprise, I'm also royalty!' My parents are king and queen, and I've been... this? It's not going to be pretty."
CC leaned back, arms crossed, one eyebrow raised. "So... why don't you just change into your true form when they get here and switch back when they leave?" He suggested, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Ravi frowned deeply, glancing between them. "But... what will you guys think of me?" His voice was small, like he was afraid of the answer.
Mint, lounging on the couch with her feet propped up, let out a soft chuckle. "Ravi, c'mon man. Sometimes it feels like you don't take your own advice. Remember when you said you'd still love us, no matter what? Supernatural or not? What makes you think we wouldn't do the same for you?"
Ravi's shoulders sagged, but a hint of relief washed over his face. "You're right..." he sighed, snapping his fingers. A cloud of smoke enveloped him, swirling like a small storm, and when it cleared-there stood Ravi, in his true form.
Everyone squinted, looking him over in confusion. Kai broke the silence first. "Wait... what's different? You still look like you!" Kai's brow furrowed as he tried to find the change.
Popee leaned in, searching for any obvious difference. "Yeah! Seriously, where's the change at?"
Bunnicula, squinted his crimson eyes before he smiled. "He's got new ears, more spots-he went from 25 to 37, by the way-and now his second pair of arms are below the first ones instead of at his waist. Oh! And one of his spots is a star next to his right eye." Bunnicula's cotton tail wagged, clearly proud of himself for noticing all the details.
CC raised an eyebrow, laughing a little. "Dang, and we thought Bunnicula was already obsessed. This is like, next-level. Did you actually count his spots, dude?"
Bunnicula's grin widened mischievously. "Yeah, and you got a problem with that?" he asked, placing his hands on his waist with mock indignation.
Ravi, his antennae glowing a soft, bashful hue, blinked in surprise. "You... counted?" His voice was gentle, and his expression softened, a flush spreading across his cheeks.
Bunnicula's grin turned sheepish as he nodded, "Mhm." He cheesed, clearly proud of his attention to detail.
Ravi couldn't help but laugh softly, the tension in his body easing as warmth spread through him. "You're such a dork," he mumbled, but his heart swelled at the gesture.
Chester rolled his eyes dramatically, flicking his tail with impatience. "Alright, that's enough, lovebirds," he quipped, his voice dripping with mock irritation. He glanced around the room, raising an eyebrow. "Do you guys think we should tidy up or something?" His eyes swept over the scattered belongings, as if the mess had only just registered.
Moxxie, lounging on the couch like he didn't have a care in the world, chuckled. "Nah, it looks fine to me," he said, shrugging as he sank deeper into the cushions.
