In the afternoon, the group engaged in a fun scavenger hunt orchestrated by Chester, who cleverly disguised it as a quest for supplies needed for his new project. Ravi, however, lost track and became separated from the group.

Confused, Ravi realized he had strayed from the group. "No biggie, I'll just backtrack and find their footprints," he thought. But as he retraced his steps, he found himself even more disoriented than before.

"Since when is backtracking so hard? I could teleport to the group, but I don't feel like it," Ravi yawned, adjusting his hoodie while exploring a little further.

Deeper into the forest, Ravi's brow furrowed. "This doesn't look like the forest we were in before... Maybe they went this way too," he mused, shrugging and venturing further, the surroundings growing increasingly eerie.

Ravi's antennas drooped, turning a mix of grey and purple. "I don't know why my antennas are reacting; this doesn't seem dangerous..." he muttered. Suddenly, a noise behind him caught his attention-deep footsteps. His antennas flickered and trembled wildly.

Ravi clutched his antennas. "Not now! Be quiet!" he scolded, as though they had a will of their own.

The noise ceased momentarily, then the footsteps hastened, the vibrations palpable on the ground. Glancing sideways, Ravi spotted a large silhouette approaching, triggering his instinct to flee.

As Ravi dashed away, he glanced back and saw nothing pursuing him. But before he could stop, he collided with a tree, rendering him unconscious.

After lying on the ground for a few minutes, his eyes slowly blinked open. All he could see was a blue light pulsating nearby through his blurry vision, but as his consciousness returned, he realized the light was emanating from the bushes.

Ravi rose cautiously, rubbing the spot where his head had struck the tree, and noticed a trickle of blood on his forehead. "Dang, why'd I have to end up in this situation?" he muttered, wincing as he inspected the wound. It wasn't deep, but it hadn't closed.

Ignoring the injury, he turned his attention to the pulsating light. Pushing aside some leaves, he discovered an amulet emitting the mysterious blue glow.

He glanced at his antennas and noticed they were responding to the amulet, pulsating in sync with its light.

"What the...?" he murmured, squinting at the amulet in his hand. The temptation to open it was overwhelming, especially since it and his antennas were blinking together-a sign, perhaps? Unable to resist, he opened the amulet.

Instantly, a magical portal emerged from the amulet, sensing Ravi's presence and displaying a chaotic scene featuring an older version of himself.

Ravi's eyebrow arched in confusion. "What the hell is this?" He continued to watch as his future self battled what appeared to be ink demons, witnessing his friends get injured and fight back amidst shouts.

The hologram abruptly ended, leaving Ravi stunned. "Uh...I have no idea what just happened." But before the situation could escalate, the amulet began to speak, its light pulsating with each word.

"Listen closely, Ravi. A great danger looms over you and your friends; you must prepare," it warned.

Brows furrowed, Ravi pressed for answers. "What danger? Prepare for what?" But the amulet fell silent, offering no further explanation.

Ravi groaned, "How can it tell me to 'prepare' if I don't know what for? This is ridiculous!" He threw the amulet, only to find it in front of him moments later. "What?! How did it get there? I just threw it!" he exclaimed, burying it in frustration.

Yet, as Ravi smirked and walked away, he spotted the amulet hanging from a tree branch. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me!" he shouted, retrieving the amulet with a resigned look.

"So, I'm stuck with you, huh?" Ravi mused, pocketing the amulet.

His mood shifted upon seeing his friends. "Yo! Where were you guys?" he greeted them cheerfully.

Chester turned, relieved. "Ravi! We've been looking for you! What happened to you?" he asked, eyeing Ravi's injury with concern.

"It's nothing, just ran into a tree," Ravi dismissed, changing the subject. "Anyone hungry?" he proposed with a smile.

Mint responded, "That wound looks serious, but sure, we can eat after you clean up. No blood on my food," she quipped.

Kai agreed, "Yeah, you kind of reek of blood and dirt, man," he said with an awkward grin.

Laughing, Ravi agreed to freshen up as they all headed home, planning to go out for a meal afterward.
