As the clock struck midnight, Ravi's alarm sounded, prompting a groan and a yawn as he rose from bed, inadvertently waking his boyfriend, Bunnicula.

Bunnicula, bleary-eyed, protested, "Already? It feels like we've only had a couple of hours of sleep."

Ravi chuckled softly, running a hand through his messy hair. "I know, I know, but adventure calls," he replied, trying to muster some enthusiasm despite the lingering exhaustion.

Together, they groomed themselves, donned fresh clothes, completed their morning routines, and gathered their remaining belongings. Upon entering the living room, they found their friends already assembled and waiting.

Ravi, amused and curious, inquired, "What brings you all up at this hour?"

CC responded with a playful stance, "Thought we might join in on the adventure last minute, you know?"

With a laugh, Ravi welcomed the idea, "Well then, let's not waste any more time," and motioned everyone towards the van outside.

After some shuffling, everyone piled into the van, the familiar hum of the engine soon filling the air. As they settled into their seats, CC turned to Chester with a teasing grin. "So, how's it feel to be in the back now that Bunnicula's taken your spot with Ravi?" he joked, his tone dripping with mock.

Chester rolled his eyes, sinking deeper into his seat. "Oh, it's just peachy," he muttered sarcastically, plugging in his earbuds to drown out the noise.

The drive began uneventfully, with the group chatting and laughing, the early morning grogginess slowly fading. But soon, the journey took a turn for the strange.

Ravi placed his phone on the holder, the GPS active. "I can't wait until we arrive; I'm certain today will be fantastic," he said, smiling as he drummed his fingers on the steering wheel.

In the backseat, Moxxie was plotting, consumed with figuring out how to snatch the amulet from Ravi, his leg shaking with nervous energy.

"How should I approach this..." Moxxie muttered under his breath, gnawing on his thumbnail while jotting down his strategy.

CC and Bendy, who had been listening in on everyone else's chatter, found Moxxie's self-dialogue particularly intriguing. "Hey, what's the deal with purple? Should we keep spying on him?" CC inquired.

"Absolutely, he seems to be concealing something," Bendy agreed, attempting to kneel for a better listen.

Moxxie exhaled a weary sigh. "Let's go over the plan once more... If I manage to secure the amulet, I might finally be free from working for Brenson," he whispered to himself.

CC and Bendy exchanged a look of bewilderment, and before the situation could escalate, the van abruptly halted, leaving them both stunned.

Ravi opened the door only to discover the road they had taken was smeared with ink. "What the...?" he muttered, surveying the dark sky and the cracks in the earth spewing ink, with no one in sight.

While Ravi and the others disembarked, Moxxie remained inside, with CC and Bendy covertly observing from behind some seats.

Moxxie laid out documents and produced a counterfeit amulet to deceive Ravi.

CC, unable to bear it any longer, tapped on the seat and whispered to Bendy, "Dude, I can't take this anymore, we have to confront him."

Bendy, sharing the sentiment, nodded. "I was thinking the same thing!" he responded, rising with CC to approach the back.

Moxxie, engrossed in his scheme, noticed two shadows and tried to conceal his plans.

"You can't hide it any longer, Moxxie. The plot police have officially caught you," declared CC, arms folded, with Bendy by his side.

A lump formed in Moxxie's throat. "Guys, I'm so sorry, but this is my only escape from the deal! I realize I've made a huge mistake. Please, don't tell anyone!" he pleaded, his voice breaking.

CC exhaled deeply. "Moxxie, we're not concerned with the trouble you're in. Ravi just filled us in about the amulet, and you're planning to betray him for it? Don't do this. You're better than that. Have Chester create a decoy, or better yet, wait until it's no longer needed!" he advised.

Bendy, imitating CC's stance, added, "Or you could just... not go through with it and find a way to annul the deal."

Moxxie, resigned, agreed. "Just please, don't tell Ravi. He'll expel me from the group!" he implored.

CC and Bendy exchanged glances and nodded in agreement. "Alright... But you better figure out how to get out of that deal," CC told Moxxie.

Moxxie nodded, tucked the papers away, stood up, and went to join the others outside.

Kai turned around with a chuckle and a raised eyebrow. "Oh hey, guys. We were just wondering about you three. What took so long?"

CC shot Moxxie a glare before turning to Kai with a grin. "We had some private matters to handle," he said.
