When I looked back up, everyone had found seats and their eyes were watching me intently.

"The bug that was originally used is something that I made about 5 years ago. I gave it to Lee Know to test, and didn't know it was my own until this morning. The coding is fairly basic with some hidden security measures of its own including a signature that I should have recognized a few days ago."

I came further into the room and leaned against a chair. "Also this morning, Lee Know had correspondence from a few people who wanted to meet me. They insinuated that it could be on Lee Know's terms or their own. Obviously Lee Know decided his own terms would be more appropriate. They then sent a couple helpers to ensure that things would go smoothly. While at the park, those helpers picked us up."

I pointed in between the Captain and I. Then my mind suddenly remembered what had set that chase in motion. I spun to Lee Know, who's eyebrows jumped up in anticipation of my question.

"There was an explosion. At the park."

He looked dazed as if he wasn't expecting it. He didn't know about it at all.

The Captain raised a hand and turned towards everyone else. "I can actually fill in that blank. It was just a flash bang. Scary because of its sound, but no one actually got hurt."

He turned back to me and shrugged. "Last thing I heard in my in-ear."

"Oh, that's good."

He smiled, "Continue."

I nodded. "After some time here, I met Rena and Philip who asked me to alter the coding of the original bug. Basically make a brand new bug. Instead of just slowing or stopping the time, they want their new bug to be able to tell the site they are using what time it is. This allows them to bypass several security measures in banking institutions or government websites that use time as a key."

I sat on the arm of the chair. "I will be creating the bug for them."

I saw the Captain's mouth harden into a line. Clearly he still disagreed with my decision to continue with the bug. Seungmin and Jeongin just looked at each other.

Seungmin raised his arm. "Isn't that a bad thing?"

I nodded, "Yes. However, there are a few other factors that come into play that affect my decision to continue with making the bug."

I waited a few beats for them to ask a question, but they stayed silent, waiting for me to continue explaining.

"Firstly, Captain Bang has reached out to his colleagues to inform them, loosely, of the situation. Once we are done here, he will reach out again to clarify. My hope is that they will apprehend those involved and that the bug never makes it out into the open."

Relief seemed to flood through the Captain's body as he visibly relaxed. His mouth unclenched from the hard line and his lips softened.

"Secondly, if they are not apprehended, they need to fully believe that the bug does what was promised. Therefore, it needs to work in some capacity. If it doesn't, there could be horrible ramifications not just for me and Lee Know, but to everyone else in this room."

"Which is why, lastly, I will be placing additional measures within the bugs coding to ensure that if they are able to get away it won't be for forever."

"What do you mean?" Eyes turned to look back at Jeongin who had leaned forward to ask the question.

I shook my head. "Don't worry about it for now. The less you know the easier I can sleep at night."
