I was dizzy. I couldn't breathe. But, I didn't care. I was happier than I had been in a very long time. Lips gently grazed across mine for the hundredth time. It didn't matter if I was drowning. I would gladly go out like this. A thumb grazed my jawline and I shivered.
The lips left mine and I took a deep steadying breath in.
My eyes stayed closed and a forehead leaned into mine. "Too fast?" He whispered.
I opened my eyes and found his searching for an answer. "Uh-uh." I shook my head slightly.
He smiled. "Could have fooled me. You sound like you just ran a race."
I narrowed my eyes and brought my hands up to move his off of my face.
He chuckled. "I'm teasing, come back."
I shook my head. "I'm sorry that I'm not used to this."
I began to turn around but he took my hand. "Don't be sorry." He winked. "Just means you need some practice."
My jaw dropped. I literally had nothing to say back. He chuckled again as my face burned at his statement.
I looked away, my eyes falling on my brothers sleeping just a few feet from where I was in front of a man who I had just spent god knows how long kissing. Suddenly, like running into a brick wall, I was back to myself. Everything that I had done, and still had to do rushed back into my mind.
He must have seen my expression shift. "Reality?" He sighed sadly.
I just nodded, and he let go of my hand. I sat all the way back down against the couch and looked the boys over; making sure they were still indeed asleep.
Seungmin had turned over at some point and was no longer in a ball. His arms had gone out to his side and hair had fallen into his face. I carefully moved it out of the way, watching as his eyes twitched under the lids. Hopefully, it was only good dreams.
Jeongin was also still asleep on the couch across from me. His body was bent at an angle though, and I was sure that he would be sore when he got up. His book had inched closer to falling off the couch. I made a mental note to grab it the next time I got up.
Chan shifted behind me and I turned to look at the soft smile on his face. "I haven't gotten to talk to them for long, but they seem great."
I smiled. "They are."
"They think highly of you as well."
I scoffed. "I don't know if I would go that far." I tapped a couple keys to wake the computer back up.
"I'm serious. In those, what, 3 minutes they were talking about how happy they were to help you." He smiled. "Anything for their Noona."
"Blegh. Don't ever say that again." I giggled looking back at the now lit up screen.
I scrolled back up to the top of the command list, double checking my work before copying and pasting it into a mock program.
Chan leaned in closer to my shoulder. "I thought we were staying off the internet for now."
I nodded. "We are. This is a mock up program. So I can test out the coding before it goes live."
"Crazy how Lee Know just happens to have that on his computer."
I could hear the question in his voice even if he wasn't actually asking. "I put it there a few years ago. Back when I was here last."
"Oh."
I worked in silence for a few minutes and Chan watched as my fingers flew across the keys. I replayed the first command several times before I felt satisfied with the coding.
