Several thoughts ran through my head all at once, seemingly crashing into each other. The first was that I was going to kill Changbin. The second was that there was no way possible that he had been hiding those abs and his arms under a long sleeve as well as he had. And the third thing was that he hadn't seen me yet. Something that would immediately change the second that I moved.
So, I did what I thought was the best idea, and as he lowered his shirt getting ready to look back up, I whirled around so he could only see my back.
Then I remembered that I was only wearing Changbin's shirt and my face flushed.
I could feel it burning when I heard the Captain say, "Oh sorry. I didn't realize anyone was in here. I can leave if you prefer?"
That was the way out! He could just leave, he didn't realize it was me! Jisung and Changbin would be safe, and he would be none the wiser.
I raised my hand slightly giving him a thumbs up and slowly began inching my way back towards the sink.
"My apologies." I froze in place, "Was that a yes, leave or a you're good to come in thumbs up?" He chuckled.
"Umm," I tried to lower the tone of my voice, "If you could come back later, that would be great."
There was silence, "Are you ok?" He asked it slowly, as if unsure about whether he really needed to go. Damn his stupid sense of responsibility.
I pitched my voice down again, "Yup, all good here. 10- 20 minutes and I will be done."
I still had my back to him and I was almost back around the corner to the sinks when I heard an unmistakable sound that informed me that I had not gotten away with anything this time.
"Those fucking idiots." His voice was low, and the anger he had used in those words was nothing like I had heard from him before.
My blood ran cold and I broke out in a sweat as I scootched the rest of the way around the sink as quickly as I could and heard his footsteps marching up to where I was. I held my breath and the fury I saw on his face as he rounded the corner made me flinch.
"What the hell are you doing down here?" He hadn't just stopped at the wall, no. He had stopped right in front of me glaring down at me. There was nowhere to escape to; I was stuck in between him and the sink.
"Umm," My voice came out as a whisper. I gulped.
"They do realize that they can get in huge trouble for bringing you down here like this right?" He was yelling now and I flinched when his hand hit the sink.
I just nodded, not quite ready to use my voice again just yet. He huffed, running his hands through his hair groaning angrily as he did. He would clearly be having words with them, when we got out of here.
"Dumb ass..."
"It's not their fault." My voice came out quiet as I interrupted him, standing up for the boys. He paused with one hand still in his hair, my comment catching him off guard.
"It is entirely their fault." He sighed again, trying to calm himself down. "They keep breaking rules, and putting you in these situations."
"What situations?"
He gestured between the two of us. "These, where they just leave you for me to find."
Suddenly, I remembered what the body wash had reminded me of. My eyes widened and I felt my face turn hot instantly. Mint, citrus, and soap this time was mixed with sweat. I made a mental note to smack my head against the wall when I got out of here. I turned my face down and away from him, hoping to hide my red cheeks.
