Rosetta's POV:

"So how was it at st Mungos?"
"The babies healthy and we found out the gender!" Kayla squeals clinging to Reg
"Well, don't leave me waiting"
"Our baby is........." Reg pauses for an extraordinarily long time before finally putting me out of my misery "a girl"
"Congratulations!" I pull them both into a group hug
"She's going to be a daddy's girl" Reg states proudly "a heartbreaker" Kayla shakes her head
"She's not going to be a heartbreaker, and quite frankly I hope she's not too much like either of us" Kayla eyes Reg
"Why? I'm fabulous, of course it'd be great if she was a mini me" Reg gasps clutching at his chest
"Your a huge flirt, I don't want anyone to take advantage of her and I don't want her to be a heartbreaker" Reg falls to the floor
"You wound me"
"Get up" Kayla doesn't look at all amused "and I wouldn't want her to be too much like me, I can get ridiculously possessive and jealous"
"Noooooooo!" Me and Reg chorus
"Yeah so I would want her to be a perfect combination of us" Kayla finishes
"She'll be one lucky girl if she gets my smashing good looks" me and Kayla shake our heads as I finally have time to ask a question I've been yearning to ask

"So have any names in mind?"
"I like Regulus" Reg nods
"For a girl?" I ask
"Eh" he shrugs
"I like Kylie or Katy spelt K-a-t-y"
"Aww I love them" i gush at the cute names
"Or Katherine, but Reg doesn't like that one" Kayla aims a pointed look towards her husband
"I just prefer a short name, I mean Regulus, it's so long most people call me Reg" he sighs
"How hard life must be for you" Kayla simply offers
"Besides didn't you just say you'd want to call your child Regulus" i point out
"True"

"Are you thinking of having a baby any time soon?" Kayla breaks the silence
"I thought I was done answering that question for a while" I moan childishly
"James hasn't brought it up?" She asks but it comes out sounding more like a surprised statement
"Not since we took in Harry, no"
"Do you think you'd want your own child?" They both ask
"Harry is technically my child, I'm raising him as mine" I try to swerve the question
"You know what we mean" Reg intervenes, I let out a huff
"I don't know, don't get me wrong I love Harry but having a child myself, I don't think I'm ready" i let out
"You think you'll ever be ready" Reg starts
"Because it honestly seems like you think you'll never be ready" Kayla finishes
"I don't know, I can't see me having a kid" I shrug "I mean firstly the pregnancy, James has been busy with work, so I'd be doing a lot of it alone." I pause finding the right words "your a potioneer" i point at Reg "you can work around your own hours so you can be there for Kayla, James can't just pack everything up and come home if I'm having a bad day, I'd just have to get on with it. And that's also the case when the babies born, that's how it is with Harry now"

"Fair point" Kayla nods understanding, Kayla then lets out a long yawn "Sorry, i basically just yawned in your face, I haven't been sleeping well with this little girl moving most of the night"
"Does that mean she's going to be overly active?" I ask unsure
"Oh gosh don't say that" Kayla gasps "maybe if she's very active and agile she could end up on a quidditch team"
"I think your thinking a little ahead of yourself" I comment "besides what team? Slytherin or Gryffindor?" I ask laughing slightly knowing this will end up in a house debate
"Gryffindor" Kayla states factually as if it's the most obvious thing ever
"Woah, woah, why obviously Gryffindor? She could end up in Slytherin like me, she is a Black after all"
"You weren't even that keen on Slytherin when you were at Hogwarts so why are you trying to force it on her?" Kayla questions incredulously
"Firstly I will never force it on her, secondly it was the people I didn't like not the house" he tells us
"Well it doesn't matter what house anyway, she could end up in Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw" I intervene, they both nod.
"Yeah" they chorus "we'll see"
