Chapter 35 - Future Slytherin?

Rosetta's POV:

I'm shaking, the room has suddenly gone icy, all of the doors slam shut simultaneously, my stomach hurts.

I sit up so fast I feel like I've got whiplash
"Happy birthday my love" I look up at my husband, down at my stomach and up at him again. Oh, he was shaking me awake and baby girl was kicking, explains the dream.
"It's my birthday?" Wow time has gone fast
"Yes my love" he grins "we're taking Harry to the zoo with Moony remember" he brushes my hair out of my face
"Oh right" I nod "baby brain" we both laugh "right I'll go and take a shower whilst you get Harry ready"
"Okay my love" I stand up and I feel nauseous but that's not what causes me to feel unsettled, that is due to the whirlwind that has started in my bedroom. I haven't used my gifts since gaining custody of Harry
"Woah, woah, Rose!"
It's so loud, I squeeze my ears shut as I try to breathe.

I'm vaguely aware of James' presence and his voice calling my name.

Just as quickly as it began it stops, I look up at James who looks honestly more scared than I probably do.

"Are you okay?" He rubs my back
"I don't know what happened, I haven't lost control like that in years" I shake my head trying to shake the headache off, as it dims I can hear Harry crying "go and sort Harry, I feel fine now" upon seeing his unsure look I reassure him "honestly I'm fine, maybe it's something to do with the baby kicking or something, she took me by surprise" I rub my stomach subconsciously
"As long as your sure"
"I am"

After one last nod from me he walks out to go and sort out Harry who needs changing and feeding and I finally head into our en-suite to take a shower. I strip off and turn on the shower checking that the pressure and temperature is right before getting in.
I close my eyes trying to relax as I wash my hair, the sound of the water manages to calm my heartbeat.

I'm not sure how long I've been in here for but it must have been a while as my fingers have gone wrinkly as they do when in water too long. I turn around and shut off the water, grab a towel, dry off and wrap it around my body before heading to my wardrobe. I decide on a light blue knee length dress which is of course loose as to not squish my ever growing stomach. I brush through my hair and stuck it up into a high ponytail, satisfied with my look I head out of the room and downstairs to see my husband and son having breakfast.

"You look gorgeous, doesn't mummy look pretty?"
"Yah" Harry shouts out though he hasn't even seen me
"He's going to be a heartbreaker." My husband comments "didn't even have to look at you before agreeing" I shake my head as I grab an apple from the counter "I can make you something" James offers
"No, no I'm okay with this, not feeling particularly hungry"
"We're going to the zoo, we're going to see lions, grrrrr, elephants, zebras and snakes" James animatedly tells our little boy
"Nake" Harry cheers
"Still not getting the hang of the s sound then" I chuckle "yes we'll see lots of snakes" I pause "you know this boy loves snakes so much maybe it's a sign he'll be a Slytherin" I smirk in my husbands direction
"Woah, woah let's not go there, my boys going to be a Gryffindor like mummy and daddy" I roll my eyes

Timeskip - reptile cave

"Nake, Nake, nake" Harry cheers as we head into the reptile cave "I'm seeing a future Slytherin" I sing lightly
"Stop winding me up" James huffs
"Bit early to start thinking about his Hogwarts house isn't it?" Rem ever the sweetheart intervenes
"I just like winding him up" I wink in my husband's direction, he shakes his head as he pushes Harry in his buggy. Whilst James is showing him a particularly large green snake Harry starts saying random words, no not words, more like noises.
"Asa, sierh" I frown watching him but eventually just leave him to it, he seems happy enough.
"Ooh" I clutch my stomach "she's so strong"
"Are you okay?" Rem checks
"Yeah, yeah, she's clearly jealous the attentions not on her" I chuckle "I can already tell she's going to be a mini James" I shake my head
"Wanting attention every second, yeah sounds like James" we both laugh as we follow James and Harry further into the cave observing different species of snakes, Lizards and some frogs as we go.
