Mavis' POV
"So, what will be the first step we will take, dear?" tanong sa akin ni Tita Irene.

"Oh, I'm so excited!" Mom clapped her hands like a kid excited to go to an amusement park. "It'll be lovely!"

"I'm sure it'll be gruesome if you knew your daughter, Irine," pagsasaad ni Tita na may ngisi sa labi niya. "Dear, I will be on your side and dispose of all the bodies if you wish."

I smiled at her suggestion. "I'm counting on you with that, Tita."

Narinig ko ang pagtikhim ni Mama. "Well, since we're all here, let's start, shall we?"

Ang magandang atmospera ay naging mabigat at nagsimula na ang aming pagsasalaysay patungkol kay Dad.

"Victor Ferrer a.k.a. Irine's husband and Mavis' father," pagsisimula ni Tita Irene. Nakatingin na kami ngayon sa table kung saan naroon ang kopya ng importanteng detalye sa kaso ni Dad. "It is related to the case that the Furrer Mafia had years ago..."

"...resulting that the Police Headquarters and the Furrer Mafia to have the alliance to end this matter," pagpapatuloy ni Mama. "But we have no important leads yet we have possibility suspects that could answer all of our questions."

"And that comes Olivia," pagsingit ni Ruxinaire.

Mom nodded. "Hindi lang namin inaakusahan si Olivia bilang isang suspect, kung hindi siya talaga ang mastermind ng lahat ng nangyari. From what happened to the scene in the train to how your father died and we're being traumatized."

"Pero hindi niyo maakusahan si Olivia dahil kasing edad ko pa lang siya noong mga panahong iyon," sabi ko.

"But Olivia has been gone for weeks since the incident on the twin's birthday happened," sabi ni Tita Irine. "I'm also to the day of mourning of the Montenegro Family. They thought na wala na talaga si Olivia."

"Mom!" Mama chuckled and I could feel my cheeks reddened even more. I cleared my throat and continued. "Ruxinaire said earlier na mayroon na kayong lead sa kaso. What is that lead?"

Napatigil ng tawa si Mama at si Tita at nagkatinginan. Ibinalik nila ang tingin nila sa akin matapos ang pagtango nila sa isa't isa.

"There's a case involved again," anunsyo ni Mama. "It's about the missing gem."

"Oh, you mean the gem that my princess stole?"

Mama frowned. "Princess? You mean..." She trailed off as she glanced at me.

Ruxinaire shook his head. "Hindi po siya, Tita. What I mean is my daughter."

Nagliwanag ang mukha ni Mama. "Oh! You have a daughter?!"

Sinamaan ko ng tingin si Mama. "Mom, don't be bothered with little things," pagbabawal ko sa kanya. "Let's continue to the case."

Tumango si Mama at tumikhim. "So, about the case connected to the lost gem, I and Irene had found something quite spectacular."

May iniharap sa'kin si Tita Irene na isang laptop (na hindi ko alam na nandoon pala) at may zinoom in na clip mula sa isang CCTV footage.

"This comes from my husband's secretary. She is also an expert on hacking systems. Maybe, this will make you a lead for the case."
