Izuku was fast asleep in a position that to anyone who didn't know the boy would call impossible. Head somehow poked through a space between one of his legs as his whole body was folded over on top of itself. He no doubt had fallen asleep as a cat and shifted back to human in his sleep. He first started stirring when a gentle rap against his door broke the silence. It wasn't enough to wake him though as a few minutes later another sound against his door was made, this time accompanied by a voice. What the voice said was muffled enough to not make much sense.
Somewhere in his subconscious Izuku knew it was Pop but the lure of warm blankets kept him comfy enough to sleep through it. There was no doubt who it was when the door was opened a few minutes later and the voice wasn't dulled by wood. "Izuku, honey it's time to get up. It's a big day today. Izuku only groaned at being slightly waking up but didn't move much."
Hizashi sighed and gently pulled off the covers concealing Izuku's entire body. He gasped slightly at Izuku's position "How you haven't broken your neck is amazing."
Izuku groaned at the missing warmth. "Five more minutes..." he mumbled unintelligibly. Hizashi seemed to have understood anyways given his answer. "Nope, sorry honey. Not today, Nezu is expecting all of us."
Izuku moaned in heavy disagreement after hearing this. He maneuvered his body into something resembling normalcy and plonked his face deep into a pillow.
Hizashi sat on the side of the bed close to Izuku's head gently carding a hand through his son's verdant locks. "Don't you want to see Iida-kun?" he asked, trying to entice the boy out of bed.
"Tenchan is probably already there... Why am I friends with someone that energetic again?!" Izuku pouted, dreading the hyper energy of his friend. Though as much as he complains he can't think of not having the too strict and active boy in his life.
Hizashi sighed yet again seeing no real progress having been made, knowing Izuku was going to drag this out as long as he could... "Zuzu..." he pleaded "Come on kitten! We are going to be late!"
Izuku rolled over and looked at his blond haired dad. He couldn't stop the groan from leaving his throat seeing how alert he was. Opposites must truly attract because that's the only way he can see how Dad ended up with Pop.
Pop was so bright and bubbly from the first moment his day begins until it ends. His dad did warn him to stay away from loud blondes though. Personally Izuku wants to add tightly wound blue-haired individuals to that list. He was surrounded by people with far too much energy..
Izuku rubbed his eyes barely fighting the urge to just fall asleep again. This gained him a tilted raised eyebrow gaze from Pop. "Ugh can't we ask auntie Nem to put the rat to sleep so we can do this at a normal hour?" Izuku whined, knowing full well there was no chance of that.
"These are normal hours..." Hizashi defended
Just then his other dad walked, well more slumped, past. "Is not!" Izuku countered with the mature tone of a second grader.
"Dad!" He called out, making the man stop and looking into the room. "Tell Pop this isn't normal hours." he finished,
There was a forlorn look on his face and he slowly shook his head before saying "No can do kitten, I'm afraid the rest of the world is insane" gaining a distant look in his eyes.
"Sho! This is not the time to encourage drama!" Hizashi said with a confusing mix of amusement and annoyance in his voice.
Izuku chose to encourage the amusement side as he shifted over and sat on his knees badly feigning to be highly offended at Pop. "Drama?" he asked with a tone of fake shock.
