valerie and ashtray laughed as they both counted money.
these were the moments they loved.
as the laughs died down, val thought back to the friend group. was it worth salvaging?
they had pretty good times.

"ashtray, do you think we will ever become friends with the group again?" she asked.
ash bit his lip.
"it's up to us." he looked down at her.
"would you ever want to?"
valerie thought for a moment.
"yeah." she simple spoke.
"me too." ashtray shrugged his shoulders, agreeing with his girlfriend. "should we invite them over?" val raised her eyebrows.
"yeah, but let's call dd and check if they want to be friends again first." ashtray pulled out his phone, calling the one person they were still friend with from that group.
"yo wassup man." dd spoke. "you with the group?" ash asked. that was all he need to hear. "we're on our way man."
