Y/N'S POV

My life is fucked up. I'm in love with my best friend Mattheo but the problem is that he's dating Astoria, most popular girl in school.

I mean who wouldn't, she's popular, pretty, sweet and everyone loves her. And I, I'm not even half pretty as her, I'm not very popular so who would like me.

MATTHEO'S POV
My life is fucked up. I'm in love with my best friend Y/n but I'm dating most popular girl in the school Astoria.

Our relationship is complicated. I'm in love with Y/n and Astoria's in love with Theodore.

I can see the way she looks at him but I don't feel anything. I'm not jealous like I'm when Y/n talks to another guy.

To be real I don't even know why are me and Astoria dating, probably because we needed distraction. Y/n was dating Cedric and Theodore was dating Pansy.

But now when Y/n and Cedric broke up like Theodore and Pansy did I think it's time me and Astoria broke up too.

So I walked up to her dorm and knocked on the door. Astoria opened the door with a slight smile.

Mattheo: "We need to talk."

Astoria: "Yeah, we do." she said with a smile. She knew what are we gonna talk about.

Mattheo: "It's better that I go straight to the point. I think we should break up."

Astoria: "Yeah, I think we should. I see the way you look at Y/n. It's the same way how I look at Theodore. I think the only reason we got together was because we needed distraction."

Mattheo: "I totally agree, I'm glad you understand." with that we hugged.

Mattheo: "Can we still be friends?" I asked.

Astoria: "Of course. See you around."

Mattheo: "See you around." and with that I left. I came back to my dorm and fell asleep. I needed to find courage to tell Y/n how I feel.

~small time skip to morning~
I woke up and headed to my first class. It was Potions and I had it with Y/n. I walked into classroom and sat down next to Y/n.

Y/N'S POV

I woke up and headed to Potions. I was just doing my work when someone sat next to me. I look up to see Mattheo. Great, just perfect.

Y/n: "Hi!"

Mattheo: "Hey!"

Y/n: "Why aren't you seating next to Astoria?"

Mattheo: "We broke up yesterday." What? They broke up. I don't know am I happy or sad.

Y/n: "Why?"

Mattheo: "We decided that we're better as friends." I know he's lying. I mean there's some truth in what he said but it's not whole truth. I'll just ask him later.

Y/n: "Oh, ok. I'm sorry. "

Mattheo: "Don't be." he said and I giggled.

We did some work. We joked a little and then bell rang.

Mattheo: "Meet me at Astronomy Tower in 6."

Y/n: "Ok." I'm wondering why he wants me to come there. I went to rest of my classes. Then I got back to my dorm and wasted my time. I finally started getting ready. I put on some black shirt and jeans, sneakers and some rings. I look at the time. I see it's already 5:45. I need to go. I run to Astronomy Tower. I see him looking at stars with a cute picnic on floor.
