Who would see me

Y/N'S POV

Here I was. Looking more like staring at my crush, Mattheo Riddle.

He's the most popular guy in the school. All girls go around him like sharks. One more reason why he would never look at me.

He probably doesn't even know I exist. All the girls wear crop tops and short mini skirts. They love doing make up and skin care. But then there is me, girl that has good body but wears baggy clothes, thinks make up makes me ugly and hates skin care.

He looks so handsome. Ugh, I shouldn't think like that. He looks perfect leaning against that wall while talking to his friends.

They just saying something, wait a minute he blushed. He blushed. He must like some girl and they are teasing him about it. There goes my only hope.

Mattheo didn't have a girlfriend so that was the only thing that gave me hope. But I guess I will never have him.

I got up and went to the library. I took random muggle romance novel and started reading.

People think that I spent time in library studying because I'm on the top of my classes but truth is I never studied in my whole life.

I hear Dumbledore calling all the students in Great hall for announcement. I got up and took my books and things. I walk into Great hall and sat alone in slytherin table.

I have no friends especially in slytherin. Slytherins think I don't belong there because I'm smart, nice and kind.

"Silence" Dumbledore yells and whole hall goes silent. "I decided that we are going to have Yule ball this year. Please welcome students of Durmstrang and Beauxbatons." he says as the door of Great hall open. Sudently beautiful girls in blue uniforms dance in and start twirling around.

One girls come very near Mattheo does a little dance smiles and winks at him but he just ignores her.

Great, even more girls more beautiful than me. I know probably no one will ask me to Yule ball. I mean who would go with me.

Then boys om Durmstrang walked in. Some boy came close to me took my hand and kissed it. Wow, how did he even see me?

I just smid uncomfortably to let him now I'm not interested. He then walked away. I turn back to my food. I already know I will be going alone to the Yule ball. Yay.

MATTHEO'S POV

( Mattheo's pov starts from when Y/n's started)
I was just talking to my friends but then I noticed Y/n sitting there.

I don't understand how she's not popular. Her beauty makes all other girls unattractive. She's so smart and kind. She's beautiful as her heart.

I just want to go up to her and ask her out, make her mine. But I can't she would reject me. I'm usually not scared of rejection but she makes me stutter and something about her is so unique it makes me so scared.

I didn't even realised I zoned out untill.
"Mattheo, Mattheo are you here?" Lorenzo asks.

"Of course he's not, he's still dreaming about Y/n." Theodore says.
