If Harry hadn't been actively defying Umbridge through his sneaking out and extra defence classes he probably would have been tempted to run away from Hogwarts.
He had managed to sneak back into school the day after seeing Tom and managed to wave off Ron's questions about being out of bed so early. He was beginning to wonder if he had always been so good at lying or if Tom was having that profound an effect on him.
As promised, he went with Hermione and Ron to Hogsmeade that weekend and met with the surprising amount of people who wanted Harry to teach them how to defend themselves. He had been getting used to people thinking he was mental so despite realising there was a few there who just wanted to hear the story of the graveyard he was still pretty flattered. He absolutely refused to talk about what happened in the graveyard at the end of the last year but even then nobody left.
"Did you see Cho?" Hermione bumped into his as they walked back to the castle.
"Yes, she was with her friend" the face Hermione gave him made him think he'd answered the wrong question.
"She couldn't take her eyes off you Harry" she smiled.
"Oh" was all he could reply. He briefly met Ron's eyes and shrugged.
"I thought you might still like her, and she obviously likes you" Hermione carried on.
"I'm not really sure" he shrugged thinking about anything to change the subject. He was just about to ask her about homework when she cut over him.
"Unless you have a boyfriend you want to tell us about" and there it was. The whole point of the conversation. Harry wished she had just asked outright.
"No, no boyfriend" he sighed and sped up to catch up with Parvati and Lavender.

There was outrage in the common room on Monday morning. Umbridge had obviously managed to find out about their meeting in the Hogshead and had taken the extraordinary step of disbanding all clubs and teams. Harry was horror stricken when Angelina told him that also meant Quidditch.
"What are we going to do about Dumbledore's Army?" Ron asked when he saw the notice.
"Do it anyway" Harry shrugged. If he was thinking logically, he was more likely to be expelled for leaving the castle to meet up with Voldemort Junior than for hosting a defence club. At least the latter would help keep some of his friends safe.
"Yes, I think it's important. We have exams to think about" Hermione replied, and Ron looked at her shocked. Once again, the boys had the overwhelming feeling they were a bad influence on Hermione.

Harry was lying on the big four poster bed with his eyes closed. He was trying to relax but his nerve endings crackled knowing Tom was so close.
"You need to relax Harry" Tom was getting annoyed with him.
"I'm trying but it's hard!" Tom smirked and raised an eyebrow and Harry rolled his eyes "that is actually not what I meant. I just know you're close to me and I know you're going to try and get in my head at any minute" Harry sighed.
Tom flung himself down on the bed next to Harry.
"I know what might relax you" he breathed into Harry's hear and now 'it' definitely was becoming hard. How can one other person have such a profound effect on his body. He briefly thought about what Hermione said about Cho. It seemed strange to him now that last year he though she was so pretty. Now he couldn't imagine her ever having this sort of effect on him.
