Conrad's pov
Today was the day, the day I didn't want to happen, my baby, my first born was turning 1 years old me and belly got up bright and early to finish everything of, the whole family flew in last night we just decided on a pool party for anna with a princess cake and princess themed

Anna now could crawl and stand up by herself she was able to say mummy and daddy she really was growing up

Everyone had brought presents and stacked them up next to the sliding doors
Belly went to go grab nana as everyone was waiting
We heard loud goos coming closer
"Ready got a suprise" belly said as they walked out and we all said happy birthday

"DADDYYY" Anna said as she jumped for my arms
"Hey princess" Anna held me close not letting go ad she tried dancing around but couldn't everyone took turns with her down the inflatable slide as belly come over and sat in my lap
"She's loving it" she said
"Of course she is" I said smirking

"She's growing up to fast soon she'll be having a crush on a boy for years who won't notice her and he'll break her heart" belly rambled
"No if he dares break her heart I'll kill him" I said defensive
"I bet you will" she said curiously as she got more comfortable on my lap as my hands snaked around her wait

"We really are raising a great girl" "of course we are"
After a while Laurel came over to talk with us about random things and how her book was doing while we still kept our eyes on Anna
She was being thrown in to the air by Steven and Jeremiah as she giggled everytime she was in the air
As everyone went over to the food table filling there faces Anna became very restless as she wanted belly

Belly fed her and let her fall asleep while everyone just spoke whilst John started the barbecue "so bells how's motherhood" Jeremiah asked belly "it's fine, just tiring" she said as she rested her head on my shoulder
"Cinderbelly when's your next one" Taylor declared and everyone  went silent me and belly never spoke about more I mean we want more but not right now "I don't know soon but I think I want to wait till she's atleast older" she said as she smiled at me I smiled back

Once the food was cooked we all just spoke belly gave anna over to Laurel and Steven declared "belly flop time"
"No boys"
"Please bells" Jeremiah said
"Fine" as me, Jeremiah and Steven grabbed her we went to the side of the pull and screamed
"BELLLYYY FLOP"
And we all jumped in after her giggling like little kids again and clearly we was loud because we woke Anna up
As I got out and got a towel and grabbed Anna I cradled her next to my chest as she was fully awake now like she was missing out on something I just sat and spoke to Laurel for the rest of the evening
"Your a great dad Connie"
"Beck would be proud" Laurel added
"Thanks laur it means a lot" I replied as she stroked my back following it with a kiss on the head Laurel has always been like a second mum to me always there when I needed her she was the last tie I had to my mum
"I miss her" I said looking over towards the beach
"I miss her too, but she's looking down smiling everyday" Laurel spoke clearly
"I wish Anna got to meet her mum would've loved her"
"She would've and she does" Laurel said as she sighed "do you want a drink I'll go get you one" "Ermm just a water please" she nodded and went inside when Taylor came next to me "I think there enjoying the party more then Anna Is" she said as I looked over at Jeremiah and Steven even belly who was acting like 5 year olds

"Let them play they never do it not since we grew up" I said chuckling "I'm really happy belly picked you Conrad"
"Oh please we know u wanted her to pick Jeremiah" "okay that's fair but you was the right choice you was there no matter what" she said as she smiled at me as I returned it I replied "Thankyou Taylor" "it's okay Conrad"

once taylor left it was just Conrad alone all to himself watching belly and smiling he was so lucky to have bell and now to have Anna it was really  a dream come true
