The next day
I was getting ready for the party. When I was done I kissed the girls goodbye and said
"Be good for Anna okay"
"I will dad"
"Call me if you need me"
"I will"
When I made it to the beach it was a big blow out I forgot what it was like to go and have fun
Once I had one shot turned in to 3 then 10 I was fully drunk I could barely even walk straight
I decided to walk home as my car was near the beach anyways so it would be fine
"Heyyyy Connie where are you going" a sweet angelic voice said as they approached me
"Home"
"No come on stay"
"No I have to" I said drunkly I was already drunk I didn't want to do anything I would regret
The girl grabbed my arm as she moved me towards her

I screamed as I heard cams voice
"Hey okay Aubrey let go of con he wants to go home"
"Ugh fine" she said as she walked away

I was cut short by a call it was Anna
"Hello"
"Dad please come home"
"What's up"
"Ruby she-" she was cut of by crying and screams
"What's up w rubes"
"She's throwing up and holding her stomach dad please help I see blood"
"Fuck fuck okay breathe I'll be there soon" and the call ended
"Cam drive me home the girls"
"Come on then"
We rushed back to the house cam ran in first grabbing ruby for me as I was drunk as cam layed her on me
"Hey it's daddy what's wrong"
"Daddy my stomach hurts"
"It's okay baby just breathe can I need water"
By now I was almost sober as I carried her in the house and layed us on the couch
"Daddy am I going to die"
"No ruby you aren't" I said as I cuddled her close
"Need anything" cam asked
"Can u put the tv on please and put finding nemo on"
"Ofc" he said before leaving he said "she'll be okay just needs water" he said as I nodded
After a while I felt her asleep on my chest I layed her down on the sofa as I walked upstairs for a piss and I hear sniffles from Anna's room
"Hey"
"Dad is she okay"
"Yea she's okay now"
"I was so scared dad I thought she was going to die in my arms"
"U did good Anna you called me I'm so proud of you"
"I can't loose ruby dad"
"And you won't I promise" I said as I held her and kissed her head
"Come on come watch obx with me" I said before we walked downstairs as I placed ruby back on my chest as she cuddled closer and Anna cuddling back in to my side
"I love you dad"
"I love you too Anna"
