Juniors mint remains in mine and Conrads room on the bed and when we go to bed we place him on the shelf

When ruby was born Conrad thought it would be a good idea to by them both baby junior mints one for Anna and one for ruby so they have the same too but my junior mint has more meaning. I've held it close to me every single day since he won it for me
And tonight was one of those nights
I was in bed already after tucking the girls to bed after watching tv I hugged junior mint close to my chest like at any moment the bear would disappear when Conrad walked in
"I'm sure you love that bear more then me" he said smirking
"I do" I said as I smiled sitting up still hugging him
"What's up you only hug junior mint when your sad or need a break" he said, he knows me so well like an open book

"Just tired" I said
"What brutal lies" he said giggling as he went in to the bathroom
"Fine, just don't feel like myself right now I feel so self conscious and just ugly and stupid and hor-"

"As a kid I was ugly" I said looking down towards junior mint

"That is another lie you wasn't ugly as a kid"
