Chapter 46(you owe me)

Jenna POV
I'm so tired of sleeping on the hard floor of the van. Rick has his arms wrapped around me still so I can't get up.

I eventually escaped his grasp and silently opened the van door.

"Oh my god." I said as Merle scared me.

"Sorry Jenna." He said biting his thumb nail, that makes me miss Daryl.

"What happened to my nickname?" I asked sitting down next to him.

"Should I call you by your new last name?" He asked turning towards me.

"Merle, just listen to me." But he cut me off.

"No Jenna, don't explain anything. You don't get to fucking move on this fast." He was screaming and maggie came out.

"What's going on?" She asked Merle.

"Jenna's a whore, that's what's going on!" He yelled walking towards the woods.

"Merle!" I yelled for him but he wouldn't stop his march.

"Merle stop!" I shouted run in over to him. I grabbed his arm and he swung it back hitting me in the face.

I bent over absorbing the throbbing pain in my face. He started backing up and ran into the woods.

"Jenna!" Maggie ran over and looked at me.

"Oh sweetie." She whispered.

I removed my hands to see a lot of blood.

"I think he broke your nose." She said walking me back to the van.

Rick and Carl ran out and ran over to me.

"What happened?" Rick asked lifting up my chin to see the blood pouring out of my nose.

"I'm fine." I mumbled trying not to get blood in my mouth when I talked.

"Merle hit her. He called her a whore for moving on from Daryl and hit her." Maggie said shaking her head.

"I'll fucking kill him when he gets back." Rick mumbled.

"It was my fault, don't do anything to him." I said as Maggie pushed a towel to my nose.

"It wasn't your fault." Carl said taking my hand.

I could also feel my eye starting to swell up.

"Ya, he definitely broke it." Maggie whispered.

Glenn came out of the van with Judith.

"What happened?" He asked handing the baby over to Carl.

"Merle hit her." Carl told Glenn.

"Bastard." He mumbled.

Maggie removed the bloody towel to reveal blood still coming from my nose.

Rick walked over and kneeled in front of me. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"I already told you I was fine." I replied trying to fake a smile.

"We're leaving. Now, everyone get in the van." Rick ordered.

"We can't leave Merle." I said standing up and getting dizzy.

I placed my hand on Carls shoulder to gain my balance back.

"He didn't mean to hit me." I tried to convince him.

Just then Merle came through the woods.

Rick went to go run over but Glenn and I grabbed him.

"Stop." I said trying to make my voice lower.

"Hey asshole!" Rick shouted getting Merle's attention.
