Victoria heard small footsteps approaching her big bed, which woke her up.

—Vicky— Charlotte whispered as she climbed into bed.

—Lottie, what are you doing here?— she rubbed her eyes trying to get a better look at her. The girl shrugged and lay down next to her sister.

—We can talk— she said enthusiastically, making the teenager giggle a little.

—What do you want to talk about?— she sat up a little on the bed to get a better look at her.

—Mum and Dad told me that you're not going to school on Monday and Tuesday— she said, causing Victoria to duck her head. She had not only disappointed her parents, but also her siblings. —When I grow up, I want to be like you— confessed leaving the teenager surprised. There was no way in the world she wanted her siblings to be like her.

—Lottie— she stared at her, implying that she meant what she had to say —Promise me that you won't be like me. You have to be a thousand times better.

The girl was confused by the chestnut's words, for her, her sister was her role model. She had always seen her as a role model.

—Vic, but you're the best sister— Charlotte said, causing the teenager's heart to melt with love.

Since she had entered boarding school, she hadn't spent any time with her siblings. Due to the age difference, they had barely played the same things as they were at different stages of life. But after talking to her sister she decided to spend more time with them. She loved them very much, even if sometimes their relationship was complicated.

—You're the best sister— she kissed him on the cheek and they cuddled together to sleep.

—I love you— the girl murmured before closing her eyes, causing a small smile to spread across the teenager's face.

The alarm clock went off at 7:30 in the morning, which Victoria quickly turned off as she didn't want to wake her sister.

—Vicky— the little girl murmured as she felt the brunette leave the bed.

—Go back to sleep— she kissed her forehead and Charlotte did as she was told.

The teenager put on a large blue sweatshirt and light blue jeans. She looked at herself in the mirror and took a couple of deep breaths before heading downstairs and into the kitchen. He could hear something cooking in the kitchen, which indicated that one of his parents was there.

—Hello— she greeted as she walked in and saw her mother cooking cracked eggs.

—Good morning— the woman replied.

Victoria could see her dark circles under her eyes and her puffy eyes, feeling like the worst daughter in the world. She was lost in thought for so long that she didn't even notice that her father had arrived with a bouquet of her mother's favourite roses.

—Forgive me, will you?— he whispered, drawing Kate close and kissing her on the cheek. The Duchess couldn't help the small smile that formed on her face.

The night before, they had begun to talk about the punishment they would give their first born, but they had not reached an agreement and ended up arguing. The couple came out of the kitchen, to clarify the punishment before telling him.

The three sat down at the large kitchen table for breakfast. William and Kate looked at each other, waiting for one of them to start the conversation.

—Mum and I have decided— he took a deep breath before continuing —You will sleep at Windsor for the rest of the term— said firmly, causing Victoria's eyes to widen and she shook her head repeatedly.
