Victoria didn't sleep all night thinking about the conversation with her parents. She feared she would end up worse off than she was and would not clarify anything. Although it didn't seem like it, she hated always being annoyed with them and longed to have a healthy relationship with her parents.

She looked at the time to discover that it was still early so she decided to take a cold shower as that always helped to relax and clear her head. She applied moisturiser to her body before heading to the kitchen.

Catherine was preparing breakfast while her husband and children slept. At some point she could hear someone creeping down the stairs, which made her look towards the entrance.

—Good morning Vic— she gave her a smile to which the teenager reciprocated.

—Do you need help?— the chestnut asked. She liked cooking as much as her mother did, so this moment together was very special for both of them.

During a few minutes of cooking together and laughing, the brunette could see that her daughter was more receptive, which made her happy and she decided to ask her about how things had been going with Andrew.

At first Victoria hesitated to tell her about the new news, but in the end she decided to speak —We're already boyfriend and girlfriend— she announced with a small smile.

—Ohh, that's wonderful. Your first boyfriend will always hold a very special place in your heart— Catherine replied with a smile and pulled her daughter in for a kiss on the forehead.

—Do you think papa will be very upset?— she asked a little worriedly.

—Deep down he's happy for you, but he can't help worrying. He loves you very much, we both love you very much— she said sincerely.

The woman was very happy that her daughter had dared to tell her about her relationship with Andrew. She wanted to think that their relationship was improving and that he was willing to talk to her.

Before long, the rest of the family was arriving in the kitchen and they all had breakfast together. These were William and Kate's favourite times, as they loved having all their children at home.

—Vic, darling— Catherine approached her as she finished rehearsing the piece she would play at the conservatory festival. Victoria looked away from the piano to her mother, who uttered the most dreaded words for the teenager in the last few hours, "We need to talk.

The chestnut nodded and took a seat on the sofa, sighing. She knew she had to do it as she had promised her father and herself. It was time to open her heart.

—I'm sorry I behaved so badly, but it seems so unfair what you've done to me, and I don't think I deserved it. Sending me to live in Windsor was very cruel and I will never forgive you for it— said the teenager, releasing what she had been carrying inside her for weeks.

—I understand that you're upset and I'm glad you know that what you did wasn't right. Your father and I were wrong a lot and I'm sorry for that, we only do what we think is best for you— she replied but the chestnut rolled her eyes, she was sick of hearing that it was the best thing for her, when it really wasn't. —Well clearly you were wrong and I'm sorry for that.

—Well, clearly you were very wrong— the woman was very hurt that her daughter felt that they had not been good parents. She wanted to apologise but Victoria stopped her —Saying sorry is no use now.

They were both silent, trying to find the right words. The teenager didn't want to be so harsh but there was something inside her that just wanted to scream out everything that was inside her.
