"We were right 'til we weren't." - Miley Cyrus

My phone immediately starts ringing with a call from Lando and as I'm debating on whether or not I should answer it, Morgan takes my phone from my hand and ignores the call. In a way I'm relieved that she made the decision for me but I know he's not going to stop based on how he's already calling again. With a sigh I go to take my phone back but she slaps my hand away.

"Can I have it so I can book a flight to London? There's no point in me being here anymore. You and dad are leaving for Austria tomorrow and I don't want to bother Lydia when she's busy with Ez and Charles." I tell her as my heart clenches in my chest because I realize I never got to tell Lando my news of moving to London.

I was too worried about him being weirded out that I had decided to move from California. Not that I moved for him, although that was a plus. No, I decided to transfer schools before I even met him. Since my dad was moving, I didn't want to be away from him and I immediately started looking at schools in Europe when I found out he was coming to Austria. England was my top choice, mainly because they speak English and I don't know any other languages and because it was close enough to my dad but far enough at the same time. I start my new term in a couple of weeks at the University of London studying business administration.

"I'll book it for you. I don't want you to be tempted in answering his calls. If he's desperate enough to want to talk to you, he'll come here." She says and I nod sadly, not expecting him to show up here. I sit on the bed, staring blankly out the window of the hotel while Morgan books my flight for me and orders a car that will arrive at the hotel in a half hour. I'm thankful she was able to get me out of here quickly since this is the last place I want to be anymore.

"I don't want anyone to know what happened Mor. You need to promise me you won't tell anyone the real reason why I'm leaving." I tell her once she says she's going to go find my dad so she can let him know I'm leaving. She furrows her brows at me in confusion.

"I don't want anyone to hate him, especially Lydia. Just tell them we got into a bad argument and we broke up and make them swear they won't tell him I'm in London. I don't want him to know." I beg her and she rolls her eyes but nods.

"You're too nice sometimes." She mumbles just as there is a knock on my hotel door. My stomach drops as Morgan goes to answer it. When it opens, Lando is standing there looking distraught. His hair is a mess and his eyes are bloodshot. He completely ignores Morgan who is staring daggers at him and only focuses his gaze on me. I look to Mor and I see her scoff before turning to me.

"Your car will be here in 20 minutes. I'll see you next week." She tells me and I nod and tell her thank you and that I love her before she walks out the door. When she walks past Lando, he finally looks at her. She glares at him and he looks like a wounded puppy. The moment she's gone he turns back to me. He's lingering at the threshold of my room. I don't invite him in, I don't say a word. All I do is turn to my bed where my suitcase sits open so I can finish packing since I don't have much time.

"Babe, please don't leave. Let me..." he starts to say but I cut him off.

"Do not call me that Lando." I grit out in annoyance. Tears fill my eyes and I squeeze them shut and a moment later I feel his arms wrap around me tightly, pressing me against him. I hate that my body reacts and enjoys the feel of his arms around me, I should hate him. He rests his chin on my shoulder and the tears I was holding back start to fall.

"You were never supposed to see those texts." He whispers and I stiffen in his arms. That's what he decides to say to me? I force his arms off of me and turn and push him away from me.
