"Your touch is heaven-sent. Beautiful, beautiful sight right now. Beautiful, beautiful life right now." - Bazzi

"You almost ready, babe?!" I shout to Bianca as I walk through the front door, just coming home from a meeting with my manager. B is supposed to be finishing up packing her things since we are leaving for Hungary today. From there we head to Belgium then we are on summer break and I'm surprising Bianca with a trip to Lake Como for two weeks, just us two, before we meet up with our friends and family in Portofino for the remainder of break. After that we will be heading to the Netherlands. We'll be away from both of our places for about four weeks so she is stressing. It doesn't help that I still haven't told her where we are going for summer break so she doesn't know what to pack.

"Ugh, yes! Just one more minute. I really wish you could have at least given me an idea of where we're going so I could feel more prepared." She shouts in frustration and I can't help but smile. I've repeatedly told her not to stress about it, that if she were to need anything or want anything that we can just buy it but each time she just rolls her eyes and adds a new piece of clothing to her growing pile of things to pack. I'm pretty sure she's going to have three suitcases by the end of this full to the brim with options.

I walk to the bedroom and find her sitting on her suitcase on the floor and trying to zip it shut and I can't help but laugh. She glares at me as I bend down to help her. And when we finally get it closed I kiss her in hopes that she'll forgive me for stressing her out and then laughing about it. She melts into the kiss for a moment before she pulls away and shakes her head at me as she stands up.

"No! You don't get to kiss your way out of this. This craziness, this anxiety you see is because of you, Lan!" She rants as she points to herself and all of the clothes, bags, and shoes surrounding the floor around us. I pull her into my arms and she sighs but lets me hold her. I kiss her neck to try to calm her down.

"What if we are going somewhere cold and all I have is summer dresses? What if we get invited to go to a fancy gala or ball and I don't have a nice enough dress to wear? What if we are camping and I need bug spray or something? I know you want to surprise me, but you should have at least given me a hint!" She complains and I can't help but laugh at her absurd made up scenarios. Laughing at her isn't the right move though and she pushes away from me and walks into the bathroom in a huff. I sigh as I follow her, then lean against the door frame of the bathroom as I watch her open and close her toiletry bags to make sure she has everything.

"B, we aren't going anywhere cold. I'm not expecting to go to a gala or ball but if we do end up doing something like that then we can buy you a dress and I would hope that you think I know you better than to try to take you camping again...I remember what happened in Glamis." I explain to her and she looks into the mirror at me and sees me trying to hold in my laughter as I bring up Glamis, which finally makes her laugh. I can't hold back my laughter anymore as I remember the one night we tried to camp under the stars on the dunes and she ended up waking me up in the middle of the night claiming there were aliens outside of our tent.

"You can't blame me for being scared! How was I supposed to know that there was a huge night ride planned to pass right by our tent. I thought the mothership had landed and were going to take us away with all those lights and noises. It was terrifying!" She says between laughter and I can't help but laugh with her. I walk toward her then and wrap my arms around her waist and kiss her shoulder.

"I'm hoping that most of the time you won't need any clothes at all. But when you do, bathing suits and summer dresses will be perfect, babe." I whisper in her ear and she shivers against me, then spins in my arms so shes facing me and leans in to kiss me. My phone goes off in my pocket and I groan in annoyance as I pull away from her and take it out to see who is texting, it's Max letting me know they are headed to the airport.
