"Stars don't disappear; they keep blazing. Even when the night is over and I will still be here stargazing."

"So how was Lake Como? We barely heard from you while you were there. I feel like social media got more info than we did!" Morgan accuses me on our first morning in Portofino. Lando and I got to our villa around dinner time last night but didn't see anyone besides his family until this morning.

We're currently at breakfast with my dad, Morgan, Lando's family, Lydia, Charles, Ezra, Charles' family, Max, Kelly and Penelope. There are so many conversations happening around the table so me and my dad are the only ones who hear Morgan's questioning.

"It was amazing." I say wistfully, thinking back on all the memories we made over the last week. It was a magical time, everything felt like it was straight out of a romance novel and I found myself falling even deeper in love with Lando. He's made me feel like the most important thing in the world since my birthday and each day we spend together just gets better and better.

"Sorry I didn't call or text more but..." I trail off as I feel Lando's hand trail up my thigh, thoroughly distracting me.

"You were too busy fucking Lando like you're rabbits?" Morgan asks making me gasp and my dad groan in disgust. I smack her gently on her shoulder in reprimand.

"You can't say that in front of my dad or Lando's parents, or Penelope!!" I argue which makes her laugh.

"Even if it's the truth." I whisper under my breath so only she can hear and she laughs boisterously.

"We were busy. And the reason why social media got so many photos was because I enjoy teasing our relationship to the public. I think it's entertaining." I confess. It feels silly that I'm getting so much joy out of the speculation when it comes to our relationship but I'm enjoying the game of "are they or aren't they".

"Are you ever going to just come out and admit you are dating each other?" She asks and I smile. I'm about to answer when Lando does for me.

"We made a bet and whoever wins gets to decide when we go public. If I win we go public the same day, if she wins she wants to wait a while longer." He tells them which makes Morgan and my dad look between us with confusion.

"What's the bet?" Morgan asks.

"You know that stupid Twitter gossip account? The one that has always posted about us?" I ask and she nods.

"The next time they post about us, depending on what they say in their tweet will determine the winner of the bet." I explain and both she and my dad look at me with raised eyebrows.

"...Depending on what they say?" My dad asks and both me and Lando laugh.

"We both know they are going to speculate about us because we've been seen so much together and we aren't hiding it anymore. But I think when they do post they'll say something like "tell us what you think in the comments!"...Lando thinks they'll just ask a question like "Do you think this means they're officially together?" or something along those lines." I explain and both Morgan and my dad look at me like I'm crazy.

I'm well aware of the crazy but this has been a running inside joke between Lando and I since my birthday. We both find the gossip accounts ridiculous yet kind of entertaining and this seemed like a fun way for us to decide when we'll officially go public. It's not a matter of if we will but when and now we just have to wait until they post us, which surprisingly hasn't happened yet. Neither of us expected it would be this long without a post. We figured they would tweet about us immediately after we posted our first set of Lake Como photos but they didn't.
