"You should be mine for life, I'll be signing every dotted line." - Gracie Abrams

"What's going on with you and Lando? Things seem a little strained between the two of you." Morgan asks me the following afternoon when we arrive in Salzburg. I frown because didn't realize you could see the underlining tension between us that's been there ever since our conversation about getting married.

"Lando wants to get married." I admit. I'm fully expecting Morgan to be annoyed with me but she just looks at me like that's the best idea ever but when she realizes I'm not happy she frowns and looks at me with worry.

"Why do you look like that? It's great that Lando wants to get married!" She says and I frown.

"He only wants to get married because I'm pregnant." I growl and she furrows her brows.

"Are you being serious right now? You actually think that?"

"He told me that!" I shout and Morgan frowns.

"He specifically said, "Bianca, I only want to marry you because you're pregnant with my kid?" She asks and I frown.

"Well, no...not in those exact words."

"So what exactly did he say or did you just put words into his mouth and get completely worked up without letting him explain himself?" She rants in annoyance and I frown because I didn't do that. Or did I? I think back on our conversation and realize I didn't really give him a chance to explain himself, that I did sort of just jump to conclusions.

"That's what I thought." She growls in annoyance when I don't respond and I look up to see her shaking her head at me with disappointment.

"I'm not sure what else that boy has to do to prove to you that he loves you and wants to be with you forever."

"I do know that, he doesn't have to prove anything to me." I argue.

"Then why the fuck do you think he feels obligated to marry you just because you're pregnant? He wants to marry you because you're the love of his life and he loves the shit out of you. That'd be true regardless if you were pregnant or not. Stop trying to self-sabotage!" She chastises and I feel foolish. She's right and I completely over reacted but I still don't think he would have proposed the idea so early on in our relationship if I wasn't pregnant.

"I know I shouldn't tell you this but I can't watch you do this...Lando already has a ring. He bought it when you two were in Lake Como." Morgan confesses with a sigh and my stomach fills with butterflies. He bought a ring already? And before I was ever even pregnant. I'm speechless as I think over her words.

"He already talked to your dad too during Charles and Lydia's party." She confesses even more information and I realize in this moment how stupid I am for ever questioning Lando's motives for wanting to get married. No wonder he seems so upset with me about this.

"Shit. I need to go talk to him." I mumble and Morgan looks at me with agreement. Without another thought I rush back into the house to find Lando. I find him in the kitchen with my dad and they are prepping dinner. From the sound of their conversation when I enter they are discussing the same thing that Morgan and I were. When I enter the room both of their heads snap to me and they look worried.

"Can I talk to you Lan?" I ask ignoring their expressions. Lando hesitates for a moment before nodding and setting the knife he was holding down on the cutting board and follows me down the hall towards the guest room we are staying in, the same one we stayed in the last time we were here.
