Lando

I'm going to be a dad. I'm going to be a fucking dad! I still haven't fully grasped what that means over the last couple of days since I found out. All I know is I'm fucking excited and so damn happy. But I'm also terrified for many reasons. The main reason being the love of my life being stubborn and still insisting on attending university and staying in London without any form of security when I want her to move in with me in Monaco. I've been spending all my free time trying to convince her but she's still insistant that it's not needed and that it's too soon to move in together but my argument is that it's needed even more now that we have a little one on the way and how ridiculous it is that she thinks its too soon to live with each other when we're having a baby together.

"I thought you promised me forever, love? Why are you now saying it's too soon to move in together? Did you change your mind?" I ask over face time since she didn't come with me to Singapore even after I begged her to come with me.

"You know I didn't, Lan. And it's not that I don't want to move in with you...I do, but I want to finish school first. I only have this term and the spring term to complete and then I'm done with school. If I defer now or try to transfer to a university in Monaco it will set me back." She explains and I frown. I understand her need to finish school, but I wish she'd meet me half way.

"I understand that, babe. And I appreciate your dedication, but you also have to think about our baby and keeping them safe as well as yourself. Things are starting to die down, but I'm still worried about you two. Please just let me hire some security to take care of you both while I'm away. I'm already sick with worry, and I'm going to miss so much in this whole pregnancy. Give me peace of mind that you two are safe, please Bianca." I beg, not even feeling sorry for being the tiniest bit manipulative. She sighs and silence falls between us as I wait for her response.

"Fine. You can hire security." She concedes and I break out in a wide grin and with emense relief. She looks annoyed with me, but finally cracks a smile when she sees my happy reaction.

"Thank you, babe. I promise they will be discrete and you won't even know that they're there." I tell her and she hums in mock annoyance and rolls her eyes which makes me smile. A moment later she lets out a huge yawn and I glance at the time on my watch and realize how late it is in London.

"Shit, I'm sorry babe, I didn't realize how late it is for you." I apologize and she shrugs nonchalantly.

"It's okay, I haven't been doing much sleeping lately so I'd most likely be up this late regardless if I'm talking to your or not and I'd much rather talk to you than read my book." She tells me with a sweet smile and I smirk.

"You mean you love me more than your books?!" I gasp in mock shock and she giggles which makes my stomach dip, I love the sound of her laugh, it's my favorite.

"Some days I still love them more than you." She replies cheekily and I laugh because I'm not surprised in the slightest.

"In all seriousness though, why can't you sleep love?" I ask with worry, hating that I'm not with her to make her feel better. She sighs heavily before finally replying.

"I'm still not eating much because of how nauseous I feel and I'm throwing up often which then leads to heartburn at night and everytime I try to lay down flat I feel like my chest is on fire. My boobs hurt if I lay on my stomach to try to alleviate the heartburn. I'm exhausted but I can't get comfortable. I haven't had a good nights sleep since you left." She complains and I feel awful because that sounds horrible. Who knew that being pregnant could be so miserable?
